Yeah, I haven't seen too many around with their original retail boxes which is what I've been keeping an eye out for.

I used to run xfire 4890's back in the day. Thought they were nice cards. I was bios flashing them to try and run 1Ghz on them :)
I have 2x 4890 in my collection but unfortunately they don't hit 1GHz. That one I had back in 2009 ran stable at 1040MHz :rockout:

I almost forgot my trusty A64 3500+ build. Pretty much due for an upgrade, and I'm slightly undecided which to go with... eVGA 8600GT (the one in there is an ASUS 8500GT) or an fiery hot Radeon X1950XTX. Other choices would be a 8800GTX, 9600GT (either silent version or w/Zalman cooler), and 9800GT.

The HDD might be due for an upgrade as well, though so far I haven't had any issues with it.

Might as well go for the X1950XTX since you've got one. You could try using ATITool to undervolt it a bit to reduce temps a bit.

I got this at the local market yesterday DFI AK70 £3 I think i hit the jackpot there.:)It all looks good no bad caps, but i guess the board was made before the bad caps saga. What do you think of my new computer desko_OI would highly recommed this computer desk GreenForest Computer Home Office Desk with Monitor Stand and Storage Shelves i got the largest one they do £85 from Amazon uk.
know it needs a good dusting.I was hoping there would be a video on the motherboard on utube.I am glad it came with a stick of Ram.:)I don,t see one on eBay uk sold or otherwise,eBay US has a DFI AK75 for sale but none sold.It looks a bit sparse with the caps i have checked it with the one on the Retro WebThe front panal connecters are odd being that they are on the side.I could have bought a GTX 460 FOR 2 pounds i see that it would have been worth it,all though i have quite a few GPU,s and motherboards come to that.

Motherboard sometimes boots up most times it dose noto_OI think it is something to do with the APU slot .I can switch it on and off most of the time.Any ideas?I tried it with three different APU,s same thing ,why should it work one minute and not the next when i have changed nothing? It looks clean in the socket.I see some of the connectors on the socket seem seem bent is there anyway of straightening them?See third photo i get that a fair few times when it does boot. What does that mean?It looks like gobaldegook to me 525 1 on the analiser card i have never seen that code before o_O

I tried another AUP and this was the result.I tried it but nothing and back to code 25 24? o_O

If someone makes a modern 486 similar to this, I may be actually interested.

Sorry yes a AGP.Why should it boot up one time and not the next without me changing anything?o_O most of the time it switches on and off the normal way.Has anyone heard of this problem before?o_OThere is only one thing i can try and is spray some Electrical contact cleaner in the AGP slot. The three AGP,s work fine in other Motherboards.

Could be some shit in the connector or the motherboard's caps are failing due their age. I have similar problems with my AGP boards, I should recap those.

It is even worse now cleaned the slot with contact cleaner. Switch bleeps when no ram in there. When the ram is in there the analyser card jumps from code to code. o_O When the there is no Ram in there the analyser stays on this code F1 F0?.I tried another cpu span for a second or two psu fam turned off and made a werering noise i guess that cpu is brown bread.o_OYet another non working board.:(

This is a single slot cooling solution, of course it will make significant noise. Try compressed air to blow it and see if you can adjust fan curves a little though, might help somewhat.
I will give that a go, but i don,t. have any problems with older boards o_O .
