I haven't watched the YT videos but isn't all the stuff mentioned there related to the US branch?

Mostly related to the Slovenia HQ and upper management, though there's claims against US directly, but I'll take those particular ones with a grain of salt until there's some actual hard evidence since they're the he said/she said types of accusations.

Well to be honest it was more like an upgrade itch after 2+ years since I've had that i3 right after the launch so 2+ years now.
It wasn't dead necessary I just wanted a bit of a headroom in general and I also found the price to be acceptable if I sell my i3 while I can.

Worry not my GPU upgrade wont come anytime soon, I might even hold until 5060/Ti comes out and then check my options. 'and save up hopefully..'

Replacement battery for a Sony Clie PEG-NR70V/U got here today, it's back to working condition, though the memory stick port is acting odd. Picked up a spare NR70V in good physical condition with a dock, plan to use a couple small plastic pieces to fix up the one I have. Considering getting a NX70V, since it would be nice to have Wi-Fi, but those are even bigger and clunkier

So, I bought a lot of stuff this week.

@faye I tried the GameSir Cycline Pro, but had issues getting it to connect to my PC with the included wireless dongle, bluetooth also would not see it (windows 11) well I tried for an hr before i gave up and refunded it, BUT it did fit my hands perfectly, holy fuck it fit my hands so good... i miss it for that reason, but yeah oh well. I had the gamesir app installed through M$ Store too, and even in wired mode it just kept saying no gamesir controller detected...

8BitDo just upgraded all of their controllers with Hall Effect sensors, even the budget models, so that will be way I go. I have a $20 budget 8bitdo controller I really like from last year, so I am going to order same version with hall effect sensors orange color only $35, comes out next month.

I did a very budget upgrade to my PC, 12600kf, 7900 xt (yes another one cause Nvidia is just too pricey and I only care about raster anyway) and re-used same ram, psu, case, cooler, storage, etc. I am sitting at 1.260v override mode at 5.2 all core and 3.9 ecore @P4-630 i still hate ecores btw but eh its w.e everything is working fine so i will let it go. if you have any suggestions for me on the OC let me know, this oc is fully stable and temps are amazingly good. i read the newer silicon of 12600kf can do 5.5 ghz all core with like 1.350v, but i haven't tested it yet, don't think i will actually, as i am pretty happy with this and only being at 1.260v to achieve it. /shrug

single core r23 score was 1999 only 54 points lower than a 14600k single core. not bad for a $149 cpu and re-used ddr4 ram. not to mention I am drawing less wattage

I set my Fire to 33% brightness and the text to about 50% as large on the choices. You can't do things like that with books and I don't want to keep up with reading glasses.

my paperwhite lets me select font size and font type, I alternate between Bookerly and Dsylexic font.

also the backlight on my paperwhite shines down on the page, vs a tablet or screen where the light shines out into your eyes. e-readers are just so much more gentle on your eyes.

I use classic books. In Business with index markers etc. In private with a page marker. I have a hell of books in epub and pdf format, but i miss there the "erotics" of changing a page. Books are a cultural property. And exactly that cultural is missed, when using it electronically.
