I began playing 3 worst games from 2023 and was close to a metal breakdown from this garbage. Now that i mentally have recovered.

Its time for part 2 and continue where i left them.

So i will begin again to play

The Walking Dead: Destinies
Skull Island: Rise of Kong
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum

While i still waiting for The Day Before's server comes online again. Its about time don't you think?

If it comes to a mental breakdown again. I might continue with Days gone and fallout 4 i actually play right now.

After 99 hrs of gaming, just finished The Kingdoms of Amlur : Re-Reckoning (PS4).
I've already done it on PS3, then on PC during the Covid period, and now on PS4.
I love this game, it's far for being perfect, but have some charms on me.
It's like a Solo MMORPG for noobs.
A mix between Diablo (the looting items) Morrowind (the quests ans even the font used) and Darksiders (some arts and gameplay)
Done the 2 DLC and the last one, Fatesworn is not so great, repetitive and a kind of boring at the end.
A lot of things to do, to craft, ( weapons, armors, potions ... ), 3 differents gamplay, fighter, magic or stealth, of mix them as you want.
A good point is that everything seems to work as intended.
A looooot of lore, books, stories, legends ... it's even to much !
Encountered 2/3 bugs, (a secondary quest broke before the end), an unwinable fight (just reload the save), no big troubles.
A good game, basic but enjoyable, with a good sense of progress. Grab it while in sale !

Nice art, day and night cycle, seems the better part is the first hours, the end game feels a bit rushed

Classic environments, desert, forest, marshes ... need the last DLC to encounter snow !

By default, the camera is very very bad, looking to the ground, you misses a lot of the suroundings !

ELden ring main map has plenty of vistas. The DLC has ONLY vistas. While its a small map, you will walk 30 seconds to find something like this.
A castel, a catacomb, a city, a boss fight...right after you just finished another boss fight.

Ah Amalur, I've jumped into that game multiple times but for some reason never finished it even tho I've quite liked it.
Also the reason why it feels like a single player MMO its becuase it was supposed to be an MMO but the devs realized during the development that at the time theres just too much competition on the market so they turned it into a single player game instead. 'wise choice imo'

Playing some Crysis, since I got it on the cheap, and I'm quite surprised with how well its graphics still hold up... except for the rocks. Mate, how the textures for the rocks are BAD for the standards of today.

Hoonigan and Audi F8 parked quite nicely, but you can only do one at a time because you only control one car.
Challenge succeeded.

You can update/fix the textures/graphics with mods, but I haven't seen anything to fix how bad the AI is.

The DLC for this is quite good too. This was a 3D version of Diablo when it launched for me.

Done the 3 DLC, The Legend of Dead Kel, was short but nice, Teeth of Naros, original and longer, and the last one Fatesworn introduces the Chaos Realm (like the Oblivion gates) wich is boring.

Just this once I'm willing to forgo my typically conservative and respectful conduct in this game.

Trying to forget that Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail released. Soo, I launched up Fallout 4 to explore and loot. Only to have the bright idea to update whatever mods I can, only to find out there's prerequisites I never had that may or may not be compatible with other mods I have. I threw caution to the wind and began changing stuff around one by one after patching the game to a version before the so called Next-gen update. And surprisingly after a few day ordeal, not only was the game still running fine, I could play on my old save with zero issues! I remember doing anything like this in Skyrim SE, the game would most likely throw a fit after game/mod updates and either crash on start or my save game became slowly unsalvageable after many hours of play, rendering me to start a new playthrough.

Other than that, tried some Mechwarrior 5 Mercenaries again, I'm hoping to play Mechwarrior: Clans and that it will be better on launch than Mercs was. I had some fun in Need For Speed Most Wanted: Pepega mod, the entire thing is absurd but fun nonetheless. I had started Elden Ring, glad to see that whenever I see a massive boss health bar after a fog wall still gives me a tiny bit of anxiety still. I almost missed that!

I tried my first Monster Hunter game that wasn't a discount version of it (looking at you God Eater 3), World is... amazing. I really loved that game it was so easy to get into and keep me engaged compared to some other newer games that I played in the past years, by that mean that I might enjoy the first few hours but only return to continue to play an entire year or two after just to free up SSD space.

And for general time spending before commutes... I had played Alien Shooter 1, Clash n Slash, Incadia and some Runescape. Felt like going back in time.

Started GTA SA Definitive on PS4 as it was on PS+. It's not nearly as bad as when it was released, but some random bugs give some humour value.

Only took me a couple of weeks with relatively busy work schedule, but I finally made it!
Mortal Shell is completed!
Just as I expected - just a bit of practice and everything will eventually click. Still too far from "mastering" everything there is to the gameplay, but definitely a long way from where I started.
Basically the first 10 or so hours: agonizing pain and suffering. Constantly scraping for resources trying to explore the map and get as many goodies for upgrades. (that's when I made my first post about it, and immediately on the next launch made it through Fallgrim and Temple grounds in a single sitting).
Next 5 hours: Ok, now I upgraded my gear and shell, so I can finally explore other locations and kill some bosses. This stuff is easy!
Next 3 hours: You get your dreams crushed trying to defeat the final boss
I'm already on my NG+ playthrough trying to get as many achievements as possible, while in parallel building up some stuff for virtuous cycle runs.
I know it sounds boring running through the exact same locations doing the same stuff over and over again, but when it comes to Mortal shell - it never gets old(or less aggravating )
Probably by the time I'm done with NG+ and DLC I'll be ready for the final challenge - beating the game in Obsidian form. The achievement for it is called "Life is Suffering"... quite conspicuous....

well i started it yesterday, an irl friend on Steam saw me online on the game ... and he told me "take that and do as i say" well i'd be damned, i got him BG3 for his birthday, so he got me a 50chf giftcard for Steam and the "as i say" was : start the game do the tuto then unlock Bunny, her Carrier skin and Bunny heart makeup/haircut

That's "The First Descendant". Nexon released it just a week ago. Free-to-play, but generally Nexon games are allright. Back in a day I played the crap out of Combat Arms with my brother.
Haven't installed it yet, but I should get on it while it's still fresh. Always miss good online co-op games by a few years(when nobody plays them).
