Back to No man's sky and started a fresh custom game. Found a paradise planet and set up a base. I haven't played this game in a year and some things have changed, although nothing drastic.
The water on my home planet does look nice, even on my old monitor. It still is a cluttering mess of an UI..but I'll give it a go again.

I'd say being able to tune gameplay elements and adjust progression curve to one's liking in the settings without mods is pretty big, or was that earlier?

It's a good game. Amazing it's still being updated.

i've never played modded NMS so i cant tell if some of those new features are ex mods or are brand new, but they add quite a lot of stuff in this update and it part 1 so there will be more.

It's a good game. Amazing it's still being updated.

No, that was new for me. And yeah, I do like that feature.
I've set all wildlife to defensive. And resources to abundant because I hated the grind in the earlier versions.

I still need more time to explore, my homebase was on the second planet I saw.. Will post some more pix soon.

no starting date yet but most likely it will be next week as they usually start them just after twitch drops weekend (when there are twitch drops)

Midnight Suns is such a strange game. It would have been so much better with different graphics and interfaces I reckon. It's trying to be an AAA tactical-card-battle game. Something more artistic would have worked better, and I really feel the cutscenes should have been done in the style of Max Payne, IE comics. A different graphical style would help with the running around bits of the game too. As it is they are completely unnecessary, and sort of annoying.

Whenever you "have nothing to play", it's great to go next Yakuza installment

Awesome formula of arcadish fighting, melodramatic plot mixed with imo being the biggest attraction funny side missions and nice little activities whenever you want some variability.

So that's how I started Kiwami 2, but newcomers should rather go Zero.

Im not a huge fan of designing the levels myself, but I´ll maybe I can find some cool puzzles made by the community.

BTW: I found something to play in my own Steam Library. I bought Instruments of Destruction a while back, but then forgot about it. This game is really good. Kerbal Space Program good.

You can build a vehicle in 1min and demolish the buildings one tiny piece at a time, or you can build a flying, spinning, blasting behemoth that´ll level the whole island in a fraction of a second. This really is a game where your imagination and/or insanity is the only limitation.

Finally managed to pull her 4 days before she was gone. :laugh:

I seriously enjoy the combat/gameplay in this game and I also love the art style, I think I had an itch for this ever since I've quited my 7 years MMO that was also fast paced combat style. 'flashy combat with timed dodges and counters is possibly my fav type of combat/gameplay'
