Crimpers are one of those tools that just fills up your toolbox because each good set of crimpers only works with a small number of terminals.

This here is a Panduit CT-100B.

The most expensive part of my recent projects is this freaking crimper.

I have many crimpers and the collection is growing.

After today's test, I can definitely recommend the Panduit CT-100B, as long as the crimp styles are what you actually need. 10-26 AWG insulated/non-insulated butt splice, non-insulated parallel splice, insulated / non-insulated wire joints, non-insulated / insulated ring/fork/disconnect terminals.

All else considered, this is a _LOT_ of terminals supported by just one tool. And "PanTerm" seems to cover a lot of practical connectors.

Just a word of caution though: The CAT safety ratings on cheap meters are pretty questionable. You can use them to measure 230V AC in the household just safe enough, but anything more upstream is a no-no.

i got this just to diagnose my car electronics mostly. And some bits and bobs (like balancing Li cells on devices..). Will never see above 12V DC.

best guess : my Lofree Edge + Ether keycaps will arrive this week (in transit since 13.07~) it was shipped via VMYC and 17Track show the package being at the airport 2 days ago, they transferred it to DPD instead of the Swiss Post sadly ... given my poor experience with DPD ... i do hope they can maintain and honor the delivery date, which is tomorrow ahahah ...

Some new components to overhaul the incubators we have at the animal rescue center where I'm a volunteer. All four of them seem to want to retire, when we need them most .

Temperature control units, digital timers for the lights, about five or six different coloured cables (to redo the messy wiring) and some cable lugs.
Relatively cheap, but efficient;

asking because were i work almost all wifi, phone charger and cables are "donated" (well it's more loaned ... but as long as they don't fire me, they profit ) by me

The animal rescue will pay (they have a budget reserved for maintenance), I just do the overhaul of the incubators and pretty much all maintenance here as wel as repairs when possible.
Very grateful work I may say and yes for the good cause .

well, you're deserving my respect sir... i work in peoples security ... but animals rescue, i value them higher ... my late dog, Noisette, a huge bundle of love made dog was a rescue shelter dog, we got her when she was 6 month old and we spent 9 years with her, before parting with her because of a spinal cord cancer ...

and the peoples at the shelter said she did choose us .... because of all the dogs released in the park, she was the first to rush to my father and give her paw to him ... while the other dogs ran to the fence barking to the outside world.

I know some here will call me crazy (my wife fully agrees ), but I just ordered an Alseye C-RAM Air Cooler on Ali.

Because I have an open case with most of the time the tempered glass panels removed, as a consequence a reletively low airflow over my four RAM modules (which in a well ventilated closed case is normally no issue).
Since they are not very high-end modules (G.Skill F4-3600DC16D-32TGVKC), they don't have temp sensors in them but do feel rather warm to the touch. More so does the RAM power supply/VRM on the mainboard, located just beside the RAM slots (see FLIR picture below).

Note; the left RAM module is much cooler because I had a P14 fan blowing over the VRM cooling blocks, so for me enough proof some airflow will help. Will see when it arrives and I have installed it.

I know it's not a necessity, but I think some directed airflow will at least help a little and it will look good in my taste.
And for the skeptics amongst us, I do not care so much about the noise of the small fans they are PWM so I'll controll them to find a sweetspot. Did the same with the X570 chipset fan, never annoys me and actually only spins when tweaking/benching.

Yeah, most of the A-brand models are EOL and out of stock. If I dig really deep in my stuff I might find an old Arctic one I used more than a decade ago on DDR2, don't recall that I've dumped it so must be still lying aroud somewhere

With DDR5 I actually could see a use case for this. Once you put a 5.0 drive in your PC everything heats up.

We have one of these in Taiwan, but it's 110 V only and non interchangeable plates is nasty.
