You don't need high-end hardware to have fun.

I'm currently replaying Half-Life 2, and got to say, even though the graphics are outdated as heck in terms of model detail and texture resolution, facial animations are still top class after 20 years, especially when I look at games like ME: Andromeda, or SW: Outlaws.

Problems arise when you go "too old"...as you need to properly configure the 3D game with non-3D GPU, like the X-Wing or Tie Fighter...those tend to be slow on modern computers in basic Windows DOS emulator!
