I had some problems with my PC. I thought the processor had gone because I had a red led on the motherboard and it didn't want to open at all. I changed the battery on the motherboard, I tried to flash the bios, it didn't want anything. I took it to an authorized service center and I don't know what they did to it, but they brought it back to life. After they checked all my components, they found that one of the ram memory was broken. Ram HyperX DDR4 RGB 2×16Gb 3200mhz. Because this type of RAM gave me only problems, it didn't see 3200 and it saw 2400, and when I activated XMP it crashed, I thought of getting other RAM cards. I have a motherboard: MSI X570 Gaming + and an AMD Ryzen 7 5700x Processor. What do you advise me to buy to see my memory at 3200 and not 2400?

Most ram modules have lifetime warranty, try to rma your faulty one
You can check on msi website the ram officially tested and supported for your motherboard and cpu combo

For RAM Gskill everyday over Corsair. You have no guarantee that the ICs will be the same for the exact same sku with Corsair Ram. Problem is that they are part of the narrative.

Why not Patriot?

TEAM deserves a shout as well.

Every time I tried Corsair RAM it achieved a lower score than a G.Skill kit with the exact same specs. That's considering that I'd pay more for the Corsair kit.

G.Skill every day of the week.

the QVL for memory is a good start, but if you have to have G.Skill, what is the price point?

@ir_cow Not if you know someone who kept it all like a packrat :p

Both are fine. DDR4 is basically ending its life.

The issue was probably bad xmp...which happens. If you in fact cracked a RAM stick then things are working as expected when they fail. Clear the board, get two sticks of DDR4, and install in the right spots and you should be good to go. Get 4 if you need more...just know that at 3200 mhz you shouldn't be paying a lot of money....or expect anything magic on timings.

If it were my money and based on specs, I'd go with the (for AMD) TridentZ (Your second link). I would say NEO, but they cost more.

I already ordered, the exact from the 2nd link! I didn't want to invest too much money, maybe I'll switch to DDR5 and AM5.

I've used both without any issues in a number of systems (both AMD and Intel). That being said, I've found more sensitivity in AMD to RAM choice. Is your current RAM on the motherboard compatibility list?

I would check the list for both your current and whatever you decide to switch to just to be on the safe side: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/MPG-X570-GAMING-PLUS/support#mem

Ive been led to believe that Corsair RAM on AMD systems have more or less been resolved over the years. Is this not the case?

They had revisions with a signifying marker like a "z" in the part number if programmed for amd.

Personally I am fan of Trident Z Neo kits as those are designed for Ryzens.
Probably other kits too are Ryzen specific, but not the Trident Z (non Neo). They can work, sure, but its more of a gamble.
Since you are from Romania its best to tell us what is available there and what is your price range.

I have these but was a bit pricey when I got them 2y ago.

They had revisions with a signifying marker like a "z" in the part number if programmed for amd.
Had previously some Corsair LPX 2x8GB kit with that Z on the part number (which I bought accidentally) and worked perfectly on the rated speed of 3466MT/s from day one on the X570+Zen2

EDIT:

I guess some Trident Z (non Neo) is for AMD too but not all

From G.Skill website

Untitled_179.png

I took it to an authorized service center and I don't know what they did to it, but they brought it back to life...
I can tell you how... maybe

Your board has a BIOS Flash Back button (many thanks to whoever invented that!!)
With this button you can flash the BIOS to any version you like (with the file on a FAT32 stick on the corresponding USB port) even if the board is bricked and totally unresponsive to anything including ClearCMOS, battery off, dual BIOS and so...
I have done it on mine several times back in the day (2019) when AGESA was highly premature and I was trying to OC my RAM higher than rated specs (higher speed and mostly lower timings)
