QVL for my mobo, and no longer handicapped in the 64gb ram requirement for optimal Flight Sim 2024 coming out in November.

now I need to sell my 2x16gb 32gb kit.

is that CAD? $339 is crazy for 96GB but what do I know, I am still rocking 32GB DDR4 3600 that I bought for maybe £60

no it is USD, but this is my main hobby, and this is top tier ram, and again QVL. no point in working three jobs if I don't treat myself.

DDR5 is pricier. A decent 32GB kit will cost around $100. So 96GB for $340 sounds about right.

12gb vram I think it said, 64gb ram, and 7900 xt and rtx 4080 for 4k 60 fps i believe.

i meet all of the requirements except the ram, well soon enough anyway. kind of neat a single stick is 48gb now, i had no idea until yesterday you could buy that

I didn't know either until some time recently someone mentioned it on PCPP. It makes sense considering DDR5 on current platforms runs into some pretty annoying performance penalties when populating all 4 dimms. Who knows, we might even see 2x64GB at some point unless forthcoming consumer level mobos lift the 4-dimm pop latency.

Not sure this is a tech purchase but got a cheap set of solar lights and moved them to eneloop batteries.

Shrek lives in Colorado, they generally get plenty of sunlight and those lights don't use much power.

After five years of continuous use, my Corsair Strafe RGB is still running well, but some of the keys are breaking from racing games, so I've retired it as a spare.
This Logitech G213 is very nice and I really like typing on it as it has a softer, less clicky feel and sound. Just fine in games too!

Good for you, mate!
It's only the direction keys that have broken, perhaps because I use them for both racing games and the older Tomb Raiders, so I may have got a bit carried away at times, especially if some drivatar swoops up behind me, just yards from the finish line. That would certainly test the keyboard.

sounds fair, i almost always prefer to play games with a controller except only 1 game i have right now that too because it's little bit older and doesn't have ideal controls scheme for an xbox controller , i am surprised xinput works in that game despite being from 2006. BTW, tbh i haven't tested my keyboard like you so comparison doesn't make sense.

Nice! i've still got a basic dell keyboard i bought with a prebuilt maybe around 15+ years ago. For some years now its been retired but continues to serve as a reliable backup tool for troubleshooting or the odd use here and there.

One of my current mechanical keyboards is a Logitech G610. Despite enduring intense competitive gaming sessions, it's still going strong after 8 years with zero issues. It's outlasted 3 PC builds, 2 home relocations and as a result 1 very happy customer.

i have that KB. i really like it. Its a membrane keyboard, i dont like mechanical ones really :S
