I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I know just about enough to get myself in trouble so if I made some mistake here, please feel free to let me know.
But thanks to a lot of guys around here for helping me out with this stuff.
I actually learned how to build computers on this forum and most of the stuff I know about computers I learned from you guys.
So I wouldn’t be doing any of this without your help.
I sincerely appreciate all of you guys and wish you nothing but the best. So here’s a little Video of this quick OC.
Doesn’t need to be an hour long to get the point across.
Video link below. :D
Please forgive my shorts lol. I’ll edit that video soon.

EDIT:
Going to update the video.
Using the same voltages, I currently have the timings dialed in to 30-38-38-38-66
I also have some secondary and tertiary timings dialed in. I’ll post those later. I have to get to work. Lol
Stable in Aida64 for 45 minutes so far.
I’ll run more tests later and see if I can squeeze any more timings out of it and really nail down the voltages.

Nice little video. That will be useful for a lot of people, quick setup.

So you plan to go down rabbit holes with guys Like @ir_cow ??
Then you benchmark to measure the gains of performance even at the same frequency.
And make more videos :)

First of all, I would see how low you can get that 96 at the end of those timings. Seems quite high for 6600MT/s.

I don't have the same kit, but a similar one. I think mine is even more budget level, no RGB lol.

At any rate, this is what I run daily and have not been able to get more stable and also without REALLY heating up the DDR5. 1.35V is my current setting.

What could I tweak for slightly better performance; if anything? I have done my due diligence with ActuallyHardcoreOC as best I can

Ask away! Enough people should be able to point the right direction.

I personally haven't been able to get CAS 24 stable, but I haven't tried above 1.6v yet for any extended period of time.

I'm also lucky enough to have access to lots of kits and if I kill one or two, no big deal.

That’s sweet but obviously overclocking 16 GB sticks of Ram is nothing like overclocking 32 GB sticks of ram.
You’re not getting CAS 24 on 32 GB sticks of ram unless you ramp the voltages up so high your computer will start smoking. Lol

And please correct me if I’m wrong but it is harder to overclock with a higher frequency processor correct? I’m running a 14900KS.

I’m totally going to do that Sneaky. If you have any more suggestions, please let me know. I’m working on that now but I’d like to dial in tertiary timings as well.
Thanks buddy. :D

I had plans to help walk you through such things. Thing with memory is, change one thing at a time, test, rinse and repeat until you find the failure. Then move to another timing. Much easier to find if fault is because timings are too tight or if it's a voltage issue with stability.

Well, TYVM good sir. :D . I have been at it for like the last four hours this morning. Things are looking really good. Got it down to 30-38-38-38-66
Adjusted secondary and tertiary timings as well. Ran Aida64 again right now, while simultaneously running memtest (desktop version) Furmark in 8k and playing 4k video with google Chrome open.
I call it the salad test. Lol
Stable for 50 minutes. :toast:

I keep seeing people getting one of the main timings down to like 28. Am I crazy? lol

Seems to stay below 70c in testing. Is that acceptable?

I said not stable, not just the ability to post. Looks like you have a really nice CPU and everything is dialed in, but does it pass Memtest5 ?
Oh, I have tons of additional tests to run. I’m sure. Memtest5 I guess is one of them. Lol
I really need to learn how to read everything people say. Oops

I am looking for Memtest5. Do you mean Testmem5? Testmem keeps popping up.

Passed multimodal stability tests including Karhu 9 hours. And memtest5.
