Windows10
Gigabyte AMS Radeon RX6600 Eagle - Only 1 1/2 years old. Bought brand new off Newegg.
I've been having trouble with no signal to monitor on the RX 6600 getting progressively worse over the last few weeks. Tested the CPU and RAM and they're good. Tested the PSU and it's good. One thing I need to mention though is that I started getting a POST beep code of "no video card" also on this card. It'll work when it's warmed up, dead as a nail when it's cold. That indicates a physical hardware problem like a cracked trace or something on the card I know. I have read that certain viruses can mess up the BIOS though. I just wanted to try one more thing before I chunk this card. I can't believe it's messed up after only a year an half.
This card has only one BIOS entry for download on TechPowerUp and that's the original BIOS which I have downloaded. I figured I would try to flash the original BIOS onto the card to replace a possible corrupted BIOS to give this card one last chance.
I'm running an old VistionTek AMD Radeon 5600 in PCIe Slot 1 and I have the RX6600 in Slot 2. When I go to flash Slot 2 which is indexed as the No. "1", the program reports back that the card in PCIe Slot 1 (which is indexed as "0") does not have the functionality to flash.
