Can someone help me solve the BIOS problem, when I turn on the computer, it skips the BIOS (black screen), even when I log in via DEL, it is also a black screen, however, as I log in, the image appears. I assume that there is a mistake in the VBIOS of the video card, if not, then correct me. I will be glad of any help, thanks in advance!

Mining bios is why.

Post a picture here of the white sticker located on the back of the card, SN as well.

Open gpu-z, go to Advanced tab and where it states General with a V next to it, click and change to Memory Timings and get a picture of the ram info there

So, I can ask you to help find the VBios for this video card, because I am an inexperienced user and afraid that I will spoil something, thank you. So if you change the VBios to the original, Bios will work, but the performance will fall, right?

If you can return the card, do so, not only is it an ex mining card with the pitfalls associated with that, but it's also actually slower than a RX 570 in it's SP configuration, despite being called "RX 580". Similar to the Chinese "RTX 4090", which aren't full 4090s.

Furthermore, it's EOL and out of support, so current mainline drivers "work", but optimizations aren't included, it's security updates only essentially.

Look for, at the least, a RX 6600 or a RTX 2060, with the 2060 being preferable due to DLSS support and generally longer support for NVIDIA cards.

No, I won't be able to return the video card, I'll probably use it until it dies, and it doesn't seem to give such bad results in games, but it's clear that the VBIOS is now mining, and it won't let me enter the BIOS... What do you think, should I reflash it to a regular VBIOS or should I leave it as is? If the first option, then I'll be glad if you send me the original VBIOS and explain why it should be done this way. Thank you for your attention, I apologize for my inexperience.

I couldn't find a direct match on the the MSI forums.

Can you check if your PCB contains V341 VER 2.2

This bios should be the correct bios if your pcb is ver 2.2. Dont forget to make a backup of the current bios before flashing.

Nope, my v341 ver 2.1. What do you think, should I reflash it to a regular VBIOS or should I leave it as is

Yes thats great

Ok so you have samsung FB ram, lets see what your true clock speeds should be

You do have a rarer card due to it being a 67df but only 2048sp and not 2304,

Your base speed should be 1168, and boost should be 1284

Ram is 1750 (7000/4)
So, can you help me find the VBIOS of this masterpiece...? I've been waiting for a response from MSI support for four days now, but they still haven't sent me the original VBIOS for the video card. Should I try installing the VBIOS from the RX 570, or should I continue looking for the RX 580? Sorry, I'm very stupid, and it's scary to lose the video card, I left the original BIOS just in case.

RX580 2048SP is an overclock RX570. Both bioses are based on the same board.

Try to flash the RX580 2048SP bios with amdvbflash v2.93 first. See the flash guide below:
For RX 500 Series (Polaris) and Older:

Get amdvbflash 2.93

https://www.techpowerup.com/download/ati-atiflash/

Then look for Version 4.68, underneath 4.68 you will see a link to show older version, click that and you should see version 2.93

Follow these steps carefully:

1. Open your "C:" drive in Windows, create a new folder, call it atiflash.

2. Extract the contents of atiflash_293.zip to the "C:\atiflash" folder

3. Find the bios file you downloaded and rename the bios file to 5 digits with .rom on end Example RX 580, change file to rx580.rom (r****.rom)

4. Move r****.rom to the "C:\atiflash" folder

5. Open the start menu, type cmd, when cmd.exe appears right click it and hit "Run as administrator"

6. At the command prompt type in cd\ and press enter until only C:\> is on the screen.

7. Type in cd/atiflash and press enter, you should see C:\atiflash>

8. Type in amdvbflash.exe -i to identify the gpu you want to flash with a 0, 1, or 2)

9. At the C:\atiflash> prompt type in
amdvbflash.exe -unlockrom 0
(there is a space between the e and -unlockrom and 0)(0 is the number zero)
press enter and you will be prompted that the "ROM Unlocked" (or 1, 2)

10. At the C:\atiflash> prompt type in
amdvbflash.exe -f -p 0 r****.rom
(there is a space between the .exe and -f, and a space between -f and -p and 0).
(Or 1, 2)

Press Enter

Follow directions on screen and if flash is successful exit the command prompt and restart, windows should show up on screen.

Well, I just thought that it should be detected in the GPU-Z as Radeon™ RX 580 2048SP, but it turns out that it will be detected as 570? First try RX 580, and then 570? Will productivity drop significantly, or what?

RX570 is about as fast as a RX580 2048SP. There is no real performance difference.

I tried to flash it, but it gave me this error, I think because of the pcb version. Maybe that - https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/208445/208445 ?

I get this error, I run it with administrator rights, and it still doesn’t matter, maybe I should change the version?

Made everything as per the instruction, now generally black screen without running, hanging on VGA

Yes, so it wasn’t worth it for an idiot like me to get into it, it would have been better to sit without a BIOS and continue playing, but now what I have, I’ll try to solve it through friends, maybe someone will help.
