Is it bad to have 2 crooked screws on motherboard standoffs ?

I've come across this problem before even after matching screws to standoffs and there's no point trying to force fit.
One alternative solution is to use plastic stand offs which often given you a little more wriggle room.

You have verified the screws in question thread into the standoffs, and tried those screws in other standoffs, as well?

Have you tried starting those screws first, and once started, installing the remaining screws?

yes , all screws work in each standoff

i guess it is the mobo backplate , making harder to align the upper 2

Are you doing them last? Are you fully tightening the other screws before you get to them??

If so I would not do that, start the first couple of threads on each screw and then move on that way you can play the alignment game.

I would start with the two giving you issues first. Then move on.

Sure my w790 was a pain I flexed it a good 1mm to align.

You should be able to feel the board center itself, just gotta find a reference point to use, if not just look down the center of the holes and make sure they all look aligned.

Whatever you slot in first will let you know if your board is not aligned, it will sit kinda funny.

I still use them for cheap cases and other complications that arise from bad alignment or when there isn't the right amount of standoffs/screws to match.
Sometimes it's a ghetto job, but if it works, it works.

Ive dealt with a cheap case that had push in nut plates (squeeze tabs and insert)

As the title says , i just can´t align 2 screws properly ( motherboard / case )

The rest seems aligned 100%

Here is a picture

Do i run the risk of getting problems or is it alright ?

The standoffs are in the correct position but the screw doesn´t seem to align 100%

I cannot see how this thread went any further than you were fine to begin with. Ive ran boards so off square its not funny, and never once had an issue running the board. 10 years + of case reviewing, and what I see in the OP is more than fine. I dont get it.

So a picture of an offcenter screw made all yall scramble like it was some huge PC killing issue. I believe OP misworded his title, but I think by the image, he meant offcenter, not crooked. If the screws are tight in the standoffs, the only thing it matters for is the GPU and is visual horizontal-ness.

Dude is a computer hypochondriac....panics everytime something is one degree hotter or half a second slower.

matpc, my advice is still this. Find a computer shop you can trust. If you cannot judge a screw to be properly inserted, or if 1 post failure out of 50 power cycles means you should rma half your rig, then building your own pc may not be for you. You can still use and enjoy them......just let someone else put it together and worry over it.

i´ve swapped cases with my brother

testing on a dk415m and the motherboard is a tuf b550m

this is the current case standoffs ( matches the mobo )

and this is the screw i´m using

is it alright ?

that thread looks to coarse for motherboard. Probably is for securing drives and pci express stuff. MB thread is finer pitch.
