How many are using 24h2? Problems still?

So, M$FT has finally begun to nag me on this. I have heard good and bad and checked their list of current issues... I am down my test PC atm, and I am not that confident on updating my main machine just yet, that is unless you all have had a positive experience so far. Lemme know in the poll below.

Installed it when it first dropped, broke the start menu and a host of other things, rolled back and the install just wasn't the same, have now gone back to 10 until I go full Linux/Steam OS

I did a clean install of 24H2, working great so far except for a few oddities but that's pretty normal for any OS.

Didn't update, but fresh install was a bit broken for Intel 1851 Platform. Fixed now with a BIOS update

Dual booting Windows 11 24H2 and Windows 10.

So far, no issues with 11. I did do a complete clean install though. That might have something to do with it.

My Windows 11 Pro 24h2 even got a windows update recently.
I have an issues with the file system check on every bootup. C: NTFS is some sort of corrupted.
I do not intend to fix that - as it'S a gaming only installation without much customisation.
I also need an installation where I can see the differences as I get quite often asked about "knowledge" about windows 11. (intel driver for wlan, amd gpu driver, chipset driver, webbrowser + gaming clients, black background, local admin account, tpm disabled in uefi, secure boot disabled in uefi)

I sold my backup drive a few days ago. Therefore I had to move my backups and redo my backup. I doubt my KC3000 2TB drive where I use ~300GB for my gentoo linux and the rest for Windows 11 pro is defective. The drive is less than a year old. I would see it while compiling in gnu gentoo linux or while doing those two full system backups a few hours ago.

the windows 11 amd gpu driver seems to work again with the Radeon 7800XT

I upgraded all of my computers to 24H2 back when it was still in release preview, even my older systems that require a requirements bypass. I have not had any issues.

Did a fresh install about a month ago after activation got borked for stupid reasons. Got tired of watching that massive watermark while watching movies on big screen.

I have been using Windows 11 24H2 since build 26100.1, which is "Gold build"/RTM for this release cycle. Zero issues on my end, and i've run it on both Raptor Lake and officially unsupported Broadwell-E platforms.

Still having an issue with 24h2 playing nice with Brother Iprint&Scan, and it is not present in lower versions. It mostly works, but no longer allows workflows that are initiated at the scanner to be created on a client, although existing workflows still function normally. Gives an error about needing scan drivers. They are verifiably installed. Been talking to Brother support about it. I expect resolved soon.

This is why you have guinea pigs in each department. Pretty minor stuff really. These things happen with feature updates.

I freakin love iPrint&Scan, so it isn't going to change my opinion of its utility.

Had an old installation. Win10 installation upgraded to the first Win11 Insider Build. Sinne then it got the beta Insider builds. No big problems, nothing unusual, as far as I can remember.
Did a fresh install last month, because I got a new drive. Otherwise the old installation would still run.
It heavily depends on the stuff / programs which are installed over time. Keep it clean and it will run years.

I did a clean install of 24H2, and the only issue I've noticed is that CPU-Z now causes blue screens. I haven't noticed any issues with any other applications or hardware.

24H2 LTSC here. At first it seemed to be good, then it started... updates with error (common thing with 10 22H2 back days), STILL NOT FIXED some apps work (STILL, I mean I tried some pre-release 24H2 LTSC)... F..ck, I'm happy with 10 21H2 LTSC again, and seems many years forward.

Running the 24H2 after an update, so far so good. The only issue was a scuffed install of OW2 that made it necessary to redownload the game, but that was more on Blizzard and their idiotic way of updating the game files, apparently.
Oh, and, uh, the update decided to also update my NV driver without even telling me and despite me blocking driver downloads in WU. Apparently, this was a collaborative MS/NV thing to fix... something.
Other than that - no issues.

's actually good. Everything I care for works. Navigation is superior to standard. Wish I lived in the world where touch sensor displays won.
