Hi,
First of all thank you for all voting and telling me what to do.
My personal viewpoint? I like Option A! but if i am opting to get my new Platform and i am getting new CPU why not go for Option B and refresh all my machines?
It is a bit in a hurry because the offer to return my MOBO will close soon and i can do it only because i am a good customer. Option C makes the most financial sense! Option A is a good compromise. Option B makes my machines better performing for more years.
long story short not satisfied with my X670E and my zen 4!
i talked with the retailer about returning my AORUS PRO X X670E to my retailer! I will take a 12% hit.
So the options are now:
A:
1: Upgrade to either AORUS PRO X X807E or ASUS STRIX X870E and keep my Zen 4 7700X
2: take the first step and also get the Ryzen 9800X 3d?
cost between 150€ and 700€ depending on the MOBO! benefits newer chipset better speed rams and better CPU if i select it! cons: if i get new CPU i have to keep my zen 4 without cpu!
the other options are
B: get new X870e + CPU + RAM use my ZEN 4 to replace my ZEn 3 and my Zen 3 to replace my I7-8700K (2018 PC)
Cost: around 1200€! and all 3 machines get upgraded. i am not paying for the labor though. cons: most expensive solution
C: keep the systems as they are
cost 0! benefits cheap solution
