Or do y'all call that apple juice? Over here apple juice is clear and kind of bland. Cider is the good stuff.
Yes, that's (cloudy) apple juice. If you let it ferment and gain some alcohol content, it becomes cider. You yanks are weird sometimes. :D

Yes. I'm talking about the hot non-alcohol kind. Can't do the alcohol type sugar free after all.

Not exactly. Cider can be made by taking the apple product and processing it a different way and adding different flavors. The fermenting process can be skipped to get an end product for general use. When I make it fresh at home I put in cinnamon, ginger, whole cloves and a dash of hazelnut while I cook it.

Whether being served hot or cold, milk or cream is frequently used as it adds a particular quality to the flavor. Some like it, some do not. As with most things in life, it's about personal preference. :toast:
