Yeah that's exactly what I was expecting, average of 2x faster than 4080 Super. Breaking the 100K barrier at Fire Strike is pretty impressive, imagine what this thing won't do once drivers mature.

I believe HUB said you'd want a 9800x3D to avoid running into cpu limits so that'll be a NO. I'd have to upgrade many other components first.

Right now I am to poor to buy one. Started a fancy union job in November that I have maybe spent 2 weeks at while I experiment with glasses. Ugh.

But once I start working full time, and get caught up a little I would be able to buy one, but I could put a nice down payment on a camper for that money too.

I will for sure pass on the 5090, even though it is probably the way to fly looking forward.

The G3258 was loads of fun! It could overclock like crazy, mine would do 4.7 GHz, but I've heard of samples that would do 5.0 when pushed hard enough, and since it cost dirt nobody cared if the chip ever got damaged :laugh:

I won't buy an RTX5090 just for gaming.
I would buy it only if will make money with it.
Probably it will be 3.000+ euros... and very energy hungry (575-600W in gaming)
