Another entry in my long list of mistakes - er,
well thought-out financial decisions that’ll make a tangible impact in my life. Yeah, definitely.
Self-deprecation aside, here’s what I bought - an 11” iPad Pro M4. I’ve wanted one of these ever since Apple launched them, so that’s my excuse, IG.
IMO, the insane thinness is really beneficial to this kind of device since you’ll be holding the thing in your hands in landscape most of the time, and it doesn’t feel good to have to twist your hands a certain way to make it workable. I also appreciate the lightness for similar reasons, though that’s been offset in my case by the Magic Keyboard I also bought for it.
The keyboard feels extremely premium and the typing experience is great on it, so I think it was worth the almost $300 USD I paid for it. Still stings, of course, but what can you do.
The iPad’s raw performance and display quality are incredible too. I especially like the super-thin bezels and the richness of the colors on the display.
Overall, the best tablet you can get, bar none - though it has a price tag to match, OFC. It’s a fantastic mobile gaming device in particular, and of
course that’d be important to me, of all people.
