What are you playing?

Which game is this screenshot from?
Its Destiny 2 the latest season - playing with my Eyefinity settings at 7680x1440 but videos in the cutscenes are at a lower resolution

I've been playing the Division 1 again as of late.

Replayed Deus Ex Human revolution and now moving on to Mankind Divided. Aggravatingly, DXMD is black screening on me and I can't find the cause (I have to reboot the system).

Still fun after a decade or so. So hard to find really good single player games these days (I don't like grotesque horror, spells and other occultish like stuff). Or anime (sue me ;)).

That's on DX11 or DX12? Also, have you tried using DXVK/VKD3D?

Just got back into Division 2. Way more Side Missions than last time I played. Still has that nice feel when you get a nice run going.

no, thanks,

If I can’t fix it, then I will. Only annoying thing about Division is o saves mid mission.

Are you playing on DX12? When the game came out the DX11 was more stable, but niw it was the opposite for me a few minths ago when I replayed it.

Crawling is still the preferred drive in BeamNG

And still doing all the side missions 1st in Cyberpunk 2077.

Purchasing all the cribs.

Ah Sapienza, the best Hitman sandbox map in a long long time. The Hitman 3 (third game in WOT trilogy) level in the industrial rave is particularly superb hunt-and-kill goodness.

The secret data center level in Hitman 3 feels right out of the CIA heist in the first Mission Impossible film.

The Paris fashion show in Hitman 1 (not Codename 47, which is the very first Hitman ever) is particularly funny. Helmut Krueger steals the show

A very stylish and tight game trilogy, up there in the ranks of Hitman games. The plot is typical Main Bad Guys hire Assassin to kill rival bad guys, Main Bad Guys try to kill Assassin, Assassin kills everyone in his path. It worked 25 years ago (o_O), it still works today.

I still think that Hitman 2 Silent Assassin is the 5 star experience in this series but many people will find it "old" now.

God of War: Valkyrie and Star Wars Jedi Survivor
It looks like both games are well optimized.

Completed Prototype 2.

Great game: fantastic twist on the open world formula, fun protagonist, great traversal mechanics, fun (albeit mashy) combat mechanics, pure power fantasy enjoyment, great sense of humor in the upgrade tree etc. The closest to a "Carnage" game/series we're ever going to get.

Prototype 1 was a more raw, sandboxy kind of game. It was fantastic, but it was also very jank and leaned heavily on emergent gameplay to give the player their kicks.

Prototype 2 is all grown up. The sandbox elements from the first are there, but the side missions and missions are definitely better constructed, the world is better segmented and realized, everything is a bit more structured and clean.

Also, the fact that the collectibles map has a ping/general location for all the collectibles should be a standard feature on all open world games. It doesn't tell you exactly where everything is, but it tells you to search a general area and its just great. Makes collectibles more of a hide and seek than an absolute chore.

Game comes highly recommended as far as I'm concerned. Also, no/zero technical issues on my 5600X/980Ti steam box, even though Steam reviews make it sound like the game is completely broken and doesn't work...

Had a hangoverish RE3 run

one day I'll go for 1h 2min...

Wolfenstein YoungBlood, looks like the 2009's openworld map and missions is back.

It's Denuvo and 24H2, GOG has no D btw.

I say, but it can be something else, but.

If it's the same crap they had at launch - the only way to fix it is switching to DX11. Visually there's barely any difference, but it solves 90% of crashes and black screens.
Wanted to do an achievement hunt run in Mankind Divided... so I guess I'm in for another nightmare, cause apparently not many critical things got patched.

Something I don't understand in Forza Horizon 5 ...
I can't win a 4x4, rally ... races
Races on open roads, tracks races etc are ok, like the 4th episode, no problem to finish 1st, with whatever car I choose.
But 4x4, I don't know ... On the 4th episode it was like the others races, but on this 5th it's like opponents drive rockets on rails !
They have the same cars as me but I'm always like 3rd or 4th at the end. Even with a faultless driving.
And when I choose a 4x4 modified car it's worse ...
Is some of you encountered the same thing ?
Or should I need learning how to drive in the mud :)

Hitman 2 SA has so many awesome missions... the atmosphere in them too. Its really like you're starring in Mission Impossible or a 007, especially if you avoid gunplay and keep it creative; and when you then do have to escalate to full automatic, its just another scene in one of those movies too.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.

If anyone is wondering, it is exactly like the first game - the developers barely changed a thing, only tweaked some tiny bits, which I'm totally happy about. :)

I guess the devs know that fans of old times don't like change for its own sake.

Just finished Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX (PC)
Was free on Epic, so why not ?
Never finished the Master System version, even in emulator.
So like Toki, or Wonderboy, the game was remastered, better graphics, music (reminds some Rayman Origins tunes with accoustic guitar - I still prefer the olds 8 bits tune), but same gameplay.
Seems so change in levels too.
Alex have a slippery tendency that can be hair pulling.
It's an hard game for sure ! Hopefully, the dev' give you some tweaks :
Infinite Lives (useful, avoid to restart level each 3 lives), "better" controls (no more slippery, but change the "feeling" of the controls) and "better" colisions (did not seen many differences here).
You're free to use them at will, or not for a "true" experience.

The game looks good in enhanced mode. Add some "mood" to the level instead of the always blue sky screen.

Impossible ? There is a way ... The pikes oriented to the bottom doesn't kill, yes it's strange and defying all logics here !

A good idea of before / after. You can change at will the the press of a button.

Make sure you have rally springs, offroad (not rally) tires, and rally/offroad/properly setup diff.
Disable traction control no matter what you are driving on dirt / cross country stages.
Also, lower the difficulty.

I don't have VR and don't intend get it, so what's HL Alyx like on non-VR?
Would it be worth buying the game for that?
The gunplay overall feels like Half-Life 2, but it automatically solves the puzzles. Also, sometimes it crashes. I bought it with a 70% discount. I'm still in the early stages, so I can't give a solid verdict yet.

-Odd, just played through the whole game on my main system and some NG+ in DX12 recently and encountered only one crash the whole time that resolved itself when I reloaded the prior save.

As others have suggested, try changing the renderer to DX11 in launch options. The game also gets a little silly if your FPS exceeds 60fps (it ran fine but had some odd animation issues tied to framerate) so try frame capping as well.

Wolfenstein YoungBlood, looks like the 2009's openworld map and missions is back.

-I really enjoyed Young bloods. It's a solid shooter, and machine games got help from arkane studios for their level design, so the maps have that Dishonored multiple routes and objectives feel to them.

Great looking game and honestly I enjoyed the main characters (I've noticed that I don't seem to have nearly the same issues with MCs across various games that a lot of people see to have).

Even though the game is built as a co-op shooter at its core, I didn't have too much trouble playing single player. It was honestly really only tough for the first mission boss on the airship, since you have no upgrades and the AI controlled sister was a bit too squishy at that point.
