Question. What is the preferred and/or best method of updating drivers with Crossfire. I'm using 8.2's at the moment.

i would try simple downloading 8.3 and installing them without removing 8.2

Im so rma'ing this card.

I tired as heck of sending stuff back though..List or rma's

It does it's job in my HTPC

powering a HDTV[720p]and a old 1024/768 lcd. I'm running XP black,GBPVR and have a ATI 650pro tuner. It looks good and never had a issue with it even crammed in a 50s radio case[not ready for viewing yet] with a joke of a passive heatsink on it. Really it's the most pointless heatsink I've ever seen, I not know how it can cool anything. The CPU is the problem and will be getting swapped for a dual core at some point soon. I'm happy with the card but would like a better passive heatsink if I could find one that will fit in the space.

i got a rma from the egg. still don't have my diamond back thouh, said it would be shipped today. i am considering getting a 9600gt for now and returning it when i get one back.

hey Dr., I cannot get the ATT to work, I use Vista 64 and its a driver issue, I tried the low level install with no luck, do you(or anyone) know how to turn off Driver signature in Vista 64? I know u can I just forgot how!

After alot of tweaking and stuff, this is the best i could manage.
Btw, my 3870 isnt a sapphire, but it was the only bios i could find that i could flash to my club3d.

You can press F8 when booting and choose to boot without driver signitures I think, but you can't do it automatically.

There was, but I'm sure it got disabled with an update a little while back so as to stop Non-WHQL drivers from causing even more instabilities in Vista...

I'm getting antsy now! I may have to plunk down some coin on a new E8500! Still looking at a Q9450/X3350 but the draw is not as strong.

Yes, I have the Turbo bios on these. Honestly, I think the cores can mabye do a little more yet! The memory's limit is 1300 though.

And to that guy, I'm working on 4.5ghz.... I'll give it a month or so though, as I need to find a better way to cool my NB.

RivaTuner 8. Tested for artifacts (for my hottest running card) with ATi tool 0.27beta4. Oh, and I've learned not to "unlock" my cards in overdrive.
