Little breezy and Humid, today. It's projected to be 80 F at 11pm tonight! THAT is a bit unusual. Anyway, last work day this week, and I cannot wait for it to be done! I expect Wednesday to be a recovery, lazy day. Hopefully I can still manage to do a few loads of laundry. That would help me get through Thursday, easier!
Well, it is Monday. Weather looks good, Bike is running great and my apartment is a mess. I am going to dedicate some time this week, to clean up a few places. Then maybe next week another spot, and so on. Eventually I can reclaim my space, from the clutter! One battle at a time! LOL
I got up today at 6:30 am to go to the VA. got 5 holes poke in me, 2 blood labs, a covid shot and a shingles shot then an IV for the CT scan. No Cancer, Cholesterol is down. Everything points to me being healthy. Except, no energy, difficulty breathing and dramatic weight loss, including loss of muscle.
Off to work. yea. Gotta struggle to the parking ramp, get 25-30 minutes of freedom then, eight hours of hell, I hope it isn't as hellish today but, we'll see.
2 days of training done. Worst 2 days ever. 2 days I will never get back. 9-5, so traffic sucked, the instructor is an egoistic shrimpy man that loves the sound of his own voice. The stuff we are required to do should not take 2 days. I could teach that class in half the time. It was absolutely miserable, for me.
well, did not even get dressed today. I wanted to do some things. didn't do any of them. no energy and zero motivation. I managed to feed myself...nothing else. just another day, only 15 more until my next Dr. appointment.
Well, it starts again. Another work week. 19 days until my next Doctor visit, I am hoping I survive the wait! LOL. It has been tough. Just walking to my Motorcycle, in the parking garage, slightly uphill and a block away, wears me out! I sit here for 5-6 minutes just trying to motivate myself for the painful walk!
Well, It was an interesting day. Or,at least some of it was. The highlight was at 1134 am. On 7th st, that is on one side of the building I work in, a Suburban SUV barreled into a Nissan Sentra. The Sentra was parked at the curb, empty of anyone, thankfully,. The 2 occupants of the Suburban...
OK , so, 1 more day, today, and I get to rest. Then Thu. I may go to my sister's place to help move some stuff. My Nephew is coming back from Thailand, and we need to make room for him. The meds I have been given, to combat my underperforming thyroid, are worthless. I have little to no energy, and a Month until my next visit.
I went to go see the new Mission Impossible. It was pretty good waste of 2+ hours, and got me out of the house. So, not a bad thing. I just finished a Pizza and it is now, time for bed. So, Good Night TPU!
I'm back home and had a blast. Although, I did pack too much, which made my trip out there, @100+ miles, and back a little uncomfortable (I had everything in a backpack, could not find any paniers that easily fit my bike). I am going to search around for some throw over panniers that will fit. (?)
I am going to be gone until Monday. I am doing the Spring Flood Run, a Motorcycle ride to Winona and back. It's kind of a rally, Funds raised for Gillette's Children's fund. There are stops along the way to collect stamps, which enter you into a Bike giveaway. 3 days and it looks like rain each day! Good thing I got my Rain Gear, last fall!!
Typical Wednesday for me. I did help find a place to fix my sisters car/ Our Brother is going to go over and help her move the car, from the shop that currently has it and wants over 50% more money than the place we found, less than 5 miles away. Other than that, just sat around all day. Now it's time for bed. Good Night TPU!
OK, got the appointment I wanted!! Actually sooner than I was previously told!! From the VA!! Whoop, Whoop! So, May 1st I get to meet my new Primary Care Provider, and hopefully we can do a couple blood tests and get to the bottom of my recent loss of energy! I have a feeling I know what it is, but I am no Doctor.
Well, it's been 2 days of doing nothing. Watching Youtube and eating, every so often. In the morning I have got to do some laundry. Then at some point I need to get so fuel in the bike. Preferably while it is NOT raining, I'll be watching the radar closely for a window of time, to scoot down to the pump station.
I am gonna get dressed for a ride out to Flameburger. A little dive in Little Canada, a bit North of Saint Paul. Haven't been there for about a year, or so. I am going to have a nice homemade meal and then, probably, just ride home. Maybe go to the bar to watch the Hockey game....Maybe. IDK.
In about a half hour, I am getting picked up to go get my Motorcycle out of storage. Then I am going to the DMV to renew my licence and get new tabs for my licence plate. I already paid my insurance and got my parking pass for the ramp around the corner. I also called the ramp mgr. at work and got that pass waiting for me in his office.
Well, did absolutely nothing today. In the morning I am off to the chiropractor. Then Friday I go get my Motorcycle out of storage! I am super excited about that!! In the meantime, I need to sleep so, Good Night TPU!
