I'm positively surprised to see that AMD finally solved their V-sync high power consumption problems. Ada is of course still more efficient, but this efficiency difference in V-sync is now proportional to the overall efficiency. Media playback power consumption is however a typical AMD. No release without messing something up.

Nvidia's better memory compression coming in clutch when bandwidth starved?

Wow this is trash. 6650XT like performance for more money. It's nice that they dropped it 30 usd at that last minute due to them panicking over terrible reviews but it's not enough for this product.

I was expecting +30%, as well as from AMD's statements, and instead it stops at +20% from the 6600 and +5% from the 6650XT.
Ok fair price, but low performance for 150watt, the correct price would be 250 vat included.

Technically no. The6650xt was $399 MSRP and routinely sat at over $430 most of its life. Even now there's only a couple on newegg that are below MSRP.

$270 is more reasonable, although it should be $200. Give it a few months.

Looking through framerates and power consumption, I thought there was no gain in energy efficiency, but there IS which surprised me.
After reading the review I lost my interest in RX 7600... completely...

MSRP to MSRP, this card is a lot cheaper.

For most of its life, the 6650 was over $400.

All these GPUs are a joke. We are returning to a much older era where it's true that to match or beat a console gaming experience, you have to spend several times more money than a console costs.

AMD and Nvidia should be ashamed for releasing such greedy tone-deaf products, and reviewers need to remember that these are not the days of bitcoin pandemic craze where the logic of "it sucks but that's the market price" works. These, along with the garbage Ada cards like the 4060 Ti, will rot on shelves until prices drop.

Is there a competition for bad power connector implementations between AMD and nVidia?

Oh my god, are we doing this again? EVERY. SINGLE. GENERATION. of consoles, they are sold at a loss, and early on, yes a PC will cost more. Because PC is not sold at a loss. Then, at the end of the generation, the PC will be similarly priced and offer better performance as the consoles old hardware becomes a limitation. EVERY. SINGLE. GENERATION.

Can we please stop with this "the sky is falling" BS now?

We saw the 3060 Ti get re-launched yesterday, and now the 6650 XT. Similar price, same performance. What a trash generation from both companies!

I wasn't convinced buying that 6750 XT was a good idea a few months ago, but now I'm sure it was.

for $400/$270 = 48% more you get 24% more ave. fps at 1080p / 38% at 4K . so buying a GPU like 4060ti is Not worth.

idk once the RDNA2/3060 12GB sells through this and the 4060 will be the only two turds in this price range to buy other than used.

Comically this product raised the prices of the 6600/6650/6700 they where cheaper a couple days ago lmao.
