The ASUS GeForce RTX 5070 Ti TUF OC comes with a fantastic all-metal cooling solution that is built like a tank. During testing in our review, the card ran whisper-quiet at full load with the Quiet BIOS, and super cool with the default BIOS. The only problem is the high price of $1000.

It's a fantastic card, but I'm not convinced—the price increase is just too much.
Yet it's awarded with an Editor's Choice? Seems contradictory, to say the least.

How can it be a fantastic card if the 4070Ti beat a 3090 in a 24 game average and this can't top a 4080s.
Even in the mininum fps, the 4070ti was quicker than the 3090.
The 3070ti was quicker than the 2080ti.

I'm not looking at the ridiculous price, just the performance.

Claiming the card is fantastic, but it only at best matches the 4080 for the same price, it seems like some forgot when the midrange used to top the previous gen high end.
Also the fake MSRP is no controversy, it's a fact you can see on every retailer site, as for supply and demand, that doesn't mean anything when the supply has been purposely limited.

A glorified 3080 12GB with the added 4GB because of 256 bit bus and +50% clock speed that comes for free with the node shrink.

5090: at approx. +33% CUDA core budget outperforms 4090 by approx. 35%.
People: genuinely surprised 5070 Ti at a 92% CUDA core budget doesn't beat 4080.

Like I wrote in another thread, corruption. Many reviewers get invited to events, they get paid 5 star hotels, free food and drinks, goodies, entertainment, etc... That is on top of the frequent goodie bags they get, access, free gpu's and getting fed the same bullshit by Nvidia. Its a circle jerk.

Yup. I've asked several times now. I guess they rather sell the cards, who needs reviews if they all sell out anyway?

You choose some interesting games that seem to favor the 5000 card more then more popular titles.
Like a dragon 8... 5070 has a 20% advantage.
No Rest for the wicked, you really picked a game till in early access? The 5070 wins it by almost 25%
Silent Hill 2 is a remake of a 2 decade old game... 5070 has a 31% advantage

wow, madness! 1000 dollars for the asus, MSRP for 5070ti is 750!.
wait a year and get the rx 5080 for a thousand… (well, perhaps that might be a dream stretched too far)

So (from TPU review) a 5070ti plays at 62fps on 1440p on RT CP2077… so why do you need a 5080 or 5090 ?
when 60fps is good enough, and DLSS 4, and the associated “magic”will turn that into 4k…

xx70 class GPU for a 1000 bucks in highly recommended now? What a joke! I like TPU's reviews very much, but I tend to stick stickly to their graphs analysis and make my own conclusions how The Greedy Ones are kicking gamer's cohones harder each new generation and are getting away with it:nutkick: Worse some victims are even defending their deeds. Go figure, there most be pleasure in masochism after all.

@W1zzard

You mentioned you were busy with benchmarking 8 cards, this is 4x, may we know if the others are more 5070Ti's or are they 5070's?

That's a shame, especially since their 40-series cards had really beefy heatsinks.

Would have loved to see if they continued that trend.

I respect the work done in these reviews, as they’re always very thorough and well done, but a 70 class card selling for 33% more than the msrp doesn’t deserve an “editors choice” award. It is an absolute asinine conclusion to come to. Spare me the but you can only buy x generation bs.

I suspect sites want advertising money and good treatment from Nvidia. Nvidia is known for ignoring you or not sending you review samples if you displease them.
