@SN2716057 I found something for you in my printing wanderings: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:758305

EDIT:

I got the silicone spacers. I built a quick holder to give me consistent slices to cut them down to the appropriate size, replaced the 4 corners with them (left the center aluminum for a point of reference), played with the bed mesh and got pretty close. It's still not perfect, but the results are much improved. I'm going to install my hardened steel nozzle and print off some nylon/cf parts for upgrades to the bed and hot end, and then I'll apply some insulation to the bed bottom and see if I can get closer.

I think I'll just order a replacement bed from Sovol. This issue seems constrained to the right side of the bed, but it's showing up in the weirdest way. Some of the mouse ears didn't print, while the skirt printed fine and there's screwy and inconsistent first layer issues that don't show up if I print on the left side of the bed. I did a reprint of both sides of the holder in the dead center of the bed and had two different results in terms of corner lifting. I have two insulation pads, so I'm considering testing on this one to see if there's any change with the bed mesh, but I'll probably swap anyway.

This one is tiny at 6,5 cm. It can pass a 9mm casing (Luger blank training round) but not butter :(

So on an amusing twist, I left my Creality Sonic Pad unplugged for a few weeks, it's booting again. I'll test it with my Ender 3 V2 and see if it wants to play along.

Yeah, so I'm totally new to 3D printing and I can admit that I don't know sh!t from sh!t. I'm willing to learn though and plan to do a lot of reading over the weekend (also whenever I have some free time).

Just bought a 3D printer. It's clearly an older model at this point but I always wanted one. I just couldn't pass up a Creality Ender 3 v2 3D printer via Microcenter for ~$49 USD (38.17 Pound sterling / 45.64 Euro). Just couldn't do it.

It's a solid starter and there a few upgrades that you can do to it to make it better as you get more experience.

I got my brand new Anycubic M3 Max Resin printer today. It's a big and heavy resin printer. Next i will have to order and wait for the appropriate Washing/Curing station (Anycubic Wash&Cure Max).

Most of the printable upgrades are to taste. I haven't seen any for the unit that I would call a needed upgrade. I'm talking about direct drive extruders, bed leveling touch sensors, and firmware upgrades. I would hold off on those until you've got some experience with just using the machine as is unless you feel comfortable diving right in. The MicroSwiss direct drive is ~$100, the official bed sensor is ~$40 (either CR or BLT), the firmware is free (more robust than the stock firmware). You can also add bed spring upgrades to improve the bed leveling (not sure what those run).

Friday prints include: a Triple A & Double A battery container for my dad, a tiny dumpster [fire excluding] and some assembly required, and a waste bin or pen holder.

You should print up and paint some fire for the dumpster. You could add holes to the fire so it can function as a pen holder.

Scaled the dumpster to 150%. And painted the 'wheels' and lids.

Sometimes i love the printers.

I got my Anycubic M3 Max and did set it up. It took me two days till the printer was unpacked and at his position to stay. Then i tried an stick but it doesn't work. Why. Now i have to test the stick switched to MBR partition table and formated in Fat32. The only Partition/Format Anycubic want to work with. I own 12 Printer-Sticks. So quite a bunch of work.

I'm getting closer with some gentle manual manipulation. Hopefully a few more gentle tweaks will clear up the right side.

So everything outside these white/blue corners are within 0.1mm variance (which is really good), but I still am making very little headway in lifting these corners. I'm probably going to have to get another bed. :banghead:

1728787417885.png

Edit: Another 6 tries working one corner and no significant improvement. I wish this bed had another 4 mounting points at the outside corners. I guess I'll be doing more precise/larger engineering stuff when I finally get the QIDI Plus4.

I've finally got this tuned to near perfection with new nozzle. I'm ready to setup with nylon/cf and print my upgrades for cooling and the bed cable. Then I'll add the accelerometer and start tuning input shaping so I can see how fast I can get this thing. I've got one last ditch effort coming to see if I can level the bed without replacing it.

Edit: This is as good as it gets with this filament.
