9.19.0218 for PhysX is the highest I can go before older games in my library using it start breaking. But that's not really relevant to the screen blanking issue.

Look, using "PhysX_System_Software_Legacy_Driver" link(s) on pages... idk why 1019 doesn't redirects to 218 !!

9.23.1019 redirects to 9.13.0604

9.21.0713 redirects to 9.19.0218

9.19.0218 redirects to 9.13.0604

9.13.0604

Me i install 604 & 1019, looks to work.

Since it has been several years, I will revisit this and try your approach. I don't remember the exact game(s) now, I think that it might have been either Frontlines: Fuel of War or Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, but I had some older games that at some point started to not like the latest bundled PhysX driver, so I went through several versions, trial and error, until I settled on 9.09.218 as being new enough to run newer games but old enough for the older ones, and then added the legacy driver for the really old ones. But I'll review it again (and document it better this time).

I seen one strange behavior, in Sinking City (Detected Technologies) it's probably a recent PhysX version, at each dialogue view (zoom) character had his cloth to go up like if there was wind, lol.

572.60 has dropped which supposedly fixes black screen issues for RTX 5000; maybe it'll help non-5000 series users too? I'm sticking to the 560 branch myself, though.

I'm going to give it a shot, installed them this afternoon, will keep everyone posted.

Edit: so far, so good with the 3070Ti; no blackouts after several hours of use.

I spoke too soon. Screen blacked out with a string of TDR resets. Back to 56x.xx we go (I'm thinking 560.94 now), at least on the 3070Ti for the time being.

For reasons I am not able to determine, the latest drivers (572.70) are stable for both the 4090 and the 3070Ti. No screen blackouts, and 3DMark scores are more or less consistent (Port Royal and Speedway slightly higher, Time Spy slightly lower).
