Man, I love tests where it is a fair playing field. That will never be 100% accurate though as different games are optimized for different hardware. The x3d did for AMD what the sandy/ivy bridge did for Intel when AMD released their horrible FX lineup. I am a little disappointed about the new K series CPUs when it comes to gaming. This is on Intel though as they mislead their fans. They said they are going to use the same v-cache as AMD and they did not. Anyways. Older Intels is still a solid choice. I am thinking to try and source a 8700k as this is one of the few Intel CPUs I actually like.
