@AAF Optimus I Was Wonder Again.... Could You Add Support For Generic USB Audio? Just Asking But I Would Appreciate It Alot,
Mainly Because My Headphones Use Generic USB Audio So I Hope It Can Work Or Theirs Already A Custom Driver So We Will See I Assume!

Got this error while installing. Fresh windows 11 install with driver signature disabled mode.

Error While Extracting (Maybe Your AV)
Try Doing It Again With Your AV Disabled (Disable Real-Time Protection For Defender)
If Still Nothing Lemme Know

Clean windows install with no AV. Defender already removed. No internet connection too. Previous version install flawlessly without any error but I already deleted it after downloaded this reworked version. Do you have link to previous version?

Error Fixed! Package ReUploaded!

Just chiming in to report that the latest package fixed my issues with the AAF NVidia HDMI driver not outputting any audio. I can now use Sound Blaster Connect 2 with headphone 5.1 or 7.1 surround virtualization, output that to my TV, and from my TV use optical out to my external DAC/AMP. Everything works great so far!

Sorry I don't see reuploaded package. Still 2023-04-09 version in mediafire link.

Just a quick headup, I can install the driver without any extra features like DTS or Dolby selected. But I want to use DTS ultra and soundbound spartial sound.

I'm gonna reinstall windows and try again when the package get updated. Thank you Mr. AAF

btw - do you need the sound blaster software if you don't have a sound blaster card ?
Will it work with your driver ?

I have the same issue that onlylove943 has. The updated 2003-04-09 Mediafire driver is throwing the DTSULTRA.appx.bundle not reading from temp issue. There is no new driver under Assets just source files, and the Mediafire link, or I'm blind which is also a possibility.

Ok, it installs now, few issues though.

1: Sonic doesn't work any more (was working previously) Noapkey error message.

2: I can no longer select dolby under sound output settings just 16bit 24bit 44,48,192 etc. I removed everything (also using Driverstore) and reinstalled using Nahimic instead of Sonic it installs fine and "looks" like it working, but doesn't actually do anything. No Eq, surround , voice. They seem fine not greyed out or anything just doesn't change the sound.

3: Oh and you have a Script going to the desktop and not removing it's self.

Script - AAF DCH Optimus Audio 10.0.2023.1.txt is the file name.

I also wanted to say thanks for your hard work. It's appreciated. I'm not complaining or anything just giving a heads up.

Unfortunately, I found that there is an occasional audio dropout that lasts a fraction of a second. Happens at least during gaming and Youtube videos.

Then I tried the Realtek version of the driver for my ALC1220. While it works flawlessly in most games and Youtube-videos, it sounded really wrong in The Last of Us. Extreme stereo separation and many of the sounds were muffled like I was listening underwater.

This driver an admirable effort, and kudos for it, but I keep running into various issues across all my output devices. Everything works great on the Sound Blaster Z with it's official drivers.

Hello! Please make Special Audio Bus Driver for Intel SST Audio Bus Based on - IntcAudioBus.sys driver.
Thanks.
Goodbye

I still have a code 10 error for the Xonar D2X card:

If I'm interperting the driver .inf correctly the AAF Optimus Smart Sound Technology Bus Controller driver should install only in the presence of an Intel Smart Sound Technology Controller:

%SSTBusDesc% = AAFSSTBus, PCI\CC_0401 ;;; Intel Smart Sound Technology Controller
%SSTBusDesc% = AAFSSTBus, PCI\CC_040380 ;;; Intel Smart Sound Technology Controller

SSTSound="Sound Device on AAF Optimus Smart Sound Technology Bus"
SSTModem="Modem Device on AAF Optimus Smart Sound Technology Bus"
SSTUnknown="Unknown Device on AAF Optimus Smart Sound Technology Bus"
SSTBusDevice="AAF Optimus Smart Sound Technology Bus"
SSTBusDesc="AAF Optimus Smart Sound Technology Bus Controller"

Seems like it's out of place there....
You could try forcing a different variant of the AAF Bus driver...
Possibly the same one as you have above the malfunctioning one.
You clearly have 2 sound devices in your system...
Is one of them Intel (HDMI)?

Here is the full id of this card:
Code:
PCI\VEN_13F6&DEV_8788&SUBSYS_82B71043&REV_00
PCI\VEN_13F6&DEV_8788&SUBSYS_82B71043
PCI\VEN_13F6&DEV_8788&CC_040100
PCI\VEN_13F6&DEV_8788&CC_0401

and in the original driver:
Code:
[ASUSTeK]
%CMI8788.DeviceDesc%=CMPCI, PCI\VEN_13F6&DEV_8788&SUBSYS_82B71043
[ASUSTeK.NTamd64]
%CMI8788.DeviceDesc%=CMPCIX64, PCI\VEN_13F6&DEV_8788&SUBSYS_82B71043

The top one in my screenshot is an HDMI Nvidia witch works well, i also have an internal sound chipset on motherboard witch is disabled in BIOS (sound is lower quality vs xonar).
Forcing the other driver dont works either.

I dont know if this driver is compatible with any CMedia chipset.

Worth a shot I guess...
Unpack The original installler, Replace attached HDX.inf with the original and run setup (signature verification disabled).
The AAF Bus, should not - according to my understanding, represent a compatibility issue in this scenario as Alan left the door wide open even for unknown HDAUDIO bus drivers to get picked up by his driver. And remember... this is ONLY the bus... Which is 'equivilent' to the standard Microsoft High Definition Audio Bus Driver.
It's the specific audio interface/chipset that requires the extra attention.

YES!
Hello Alan,

thanks for your driver and comments.

I don't have a sound blaster card but as you said i installed the software and it cannot detect a sound card. So i cannot use this software.

The problem is that i have surround sound for videos but i want surround sound for games aswell (e.g. with dolby digital live) but for that to work i only know that the sound blaster software emulates eax or something to make games recognize a home cinema device.
I setup standard device S/PDIF out to dolby digital but still i only have stereo in games and i wonder why i see no dts connect as option.
