Pretty sure you've probably been asked this a couple dosen times, so sorry about it. But is it possible for this driver to be installed over SPDIF USB (or to use SPDIF as the output somehow as the AAF "Speaker Out")? The only app that currently works in my desk DAC is DTS (which is pretty good tbh). Anyway, awesome work, glad to see you back with it!

I finally figured out what's making your newest driver not work properly in my notebook, I can install Intel SST from your driver only if I remove this file, and this file is necessary to get integrated microphones working, Windows 11 Home update will always download and install these drivers, and after this, SB Connect 2 always stops working.

Hey im using laptop , and the problem I face is that it combines the headphone jack and laptop speakers as 1 output and also dolby setting is working great but dolby access says start 7 day trial , i want dolby spatial sound if possible. I Have a msi laptop ( i know it has the most skill issues)

Download the Package, Start Setup, select the features you want to use ( i.e. DTS and/or DD ), install and finally Donate to the Author. Nothing special for x570 boards

Same here, with 24h2. The only way to have sound is to have a weird mix of old Realtek leftovers and AAF components together.

This is a 24h2 bug as this never happened before with my board (B350)

Hopefully to help anyone else with laptop & win 11 24h2, ive tried installing (per instructions) countless times to no avail. Every time the software would always say something to the effect of "device not present", device meaning authentic sound blaster device or dts, etc. I have a realtek ALC256, clevo laptop, i9 13900hx etc. upon deleting the file
"intcsdwbus.inf", strangely everything works. I am going to post a screenshot of my realtek HDA test utility. Can anyone tell me anything about what this means? IE "Has RTKHDAUD.DAT" in red. the other one is in green. the check boxes next to them. what does all this mean?

try to replace 5.1 Dolby with DTS...you can keep dolby audio premium/atmos and etc. that worked for me, but on 23H2.
EDIT: or try via control panel in sound try speakers sounds. for me its showing now error, because windows tried to replace aaf driver and i just replaced it back.

I completely agree with this as the v2.5x of the Realtek audio console app is utter garbage and only works for few laptop pcs (and nearly useless for most other systems & desktop boards). best to stick with, install & run Realtek audio console V1 as the v1.5x releases provide more options to many users than v2.5x.

I make a suggestion to AAF Optimus to exclude or remove Realtek audio console V2 in future releases of his AAF family dch audio packages as the V2 version has not been updated for several months since last year.

could you try downgrading or reverting your Win11 system from 24H2 to 23H2, Mark?
the 24H2 release of Win11 still has ongoing issues other than just the audio problems (some networking problems also persist in 24H2)

Has DAT file just means the DAT file exists in c:\windows\system32\drivers
there is never a config DAT that i have ever seen

The DAT file stores the options and it read by the driver to see what things should be enabled / present / visible etc

If you got ABCXXX chip and you implement it in say a laptop, with only a unified audio jack
and then implement it in a desktop with 8 analog outputs on the rear panel plus a front panel
you dont release different drivers exactly
you release same driver but different dat, and disable or hide features the laptop cannot actually provide
like the 8 analog outputs.

It you modify the DAT file via the utility, back up said DAT file incase you ever need to reinstall
that way once you reload drivers, you swap the DAT file and reboot and your settings are back.

Realtek V2 Audio Console does not have any advanced options.
That is why we keep recommending not to use it.

dolby doesn't work on 24H2 ? I have installed Realtek Audio Console V1, Realtek ASIO controller, 5.1 digital feature -Dolby Digital Live(mistakenly did ), DTSX ULTRA - DTS SOUND BOUND, Dolby Audio Premium but only DTS Headphones:X and DTS:X ULTRA were present after the installation in the spatial audio .

I tried accessing dolby through the app , first it says to turn off the spatial audio but when i turn it off it says dolby isn't compatible with my realtek and when i did a clean re install the options were kinda greyed out making unable to click on those (Dolby Settings App). I reverted back to my default drivers after the sound in my headphones were not satisfactory , the DTS worked well on my 20$ speakers tho (enhanced it i would say)

Greetings to all! I've been using AAF for sound for a long time, but recently my Realtek sound chip on the motherboard broke down... Unfortunately, at the moment I do not have the opportunity to repair the motherboard or replace it completely, so I purchased Fifine H6 USB headphones. These headphones have a built-in sound card that allows me to receive sound even with a broken Realtek chip on my motherboard. However, out of the entire set of programs included in AAF, my headphones work exclusively with Nahimic. All other software does not identify them as a sound device.

I understand that the author initially stated that his software is guaranteed to work exclusively with Realtek chips. But still, is there any way to add the ability to support my headphones in Dolby and other software? For example, by including the headphone ID (VID/PID) in the list of supported devices? In addition, my Fifine headphones do not require a special driver and work using a standard Microsoft driver. I think that the built-in USB sound card does not have any complex features that require additional support for proprietary drivernderstand that the author initially stated that his software is guaranteed to work exclusively with Realtek chips. But still, is there any way to add the ability to support my pment:

Oh my god you are back ! Figured out the intel SST driver thing with him, he has made a modded SST driver for ADL and RPL, after installing that, ICE works properly, great thanks to him !!

First I noticed that the bus driver in the driver pack can't make the mic avalliable, then we find out, we need intel's SST driver to expose the mic
