I reviewed both. Just ignore the memory part of the memory compatibility because it's better now. Essentially if you're limited by the CPU. If you are lucky and can run 2x 6600 (1:1). Who cares if it can do 8000 MT/s because its worse perf.
So it really comes down to the features you want and how you will use the PCIe slots.
