Another problem i found is that when i spawn in an airplane and then jump down, the entire weapon class is messed up.

i think i heard that if you spawn into airplane and jump out all you have is sidearm. ( to prevent airplane taxi- was a problem in BF4 )
 
Well i recorded booting up BF1 for the very first time ever so now i will render it out and publish to YT since i could not be arsed yesterday.
Enjoy me just getting to grips with it.

Seriously pleople, this is a game where you can see people through walls with your special parascope binoculars. And you upset about the skin tone of a charecter model.

Get over yourselves. This isnt about "historical inaccuracies " if you gave a shit about that it would have come up in any one of the previous 7 titles. And its not about racism or discrimination either.
Its about you letting people you dont agree with get so far under your skin that you can't even enjoy a video game.

Boycotting a battlefield game because they made the German soldiers black is no different from boycotting daus ex because of an "aug lives matter" advertisement.

Battlefield is Not a Ken Berns documentary. If you want to worry about historical inaccuracies that muddy the past, you should worry about the trivialization of war, the brutality of that period of mechanization, or the fact that All the Horses are CLONES! DICE you gave me black germans , but no white horses? I want a f&$king palamino! And all males? Thats sexist!

And where the hell is my CUTE DOG in a gas mask? Answer that liberal media!

People say they are tired of the PC but if you're gonna be PC at least know which countries you are talking about here. Not just fall into "Oh its WW1 obviously its the germans" No its the Turks.

Even in Conquest...tanks are really OP. You can't even get close enough to kill them with the tank nades and stuff.

just takes some practice. know when to engage and when to run and let your teammates be fodder ;)

Is it really important though, does it make the game unplayable or bad? I'd say no. You're simply overreacting.

PS. Who's playing atm? We could do a TPU BF1 squad.

I just finished playing tonight and I actually had weapons... but sadly VR has ruined regular monitor gaming for me.... It just doesn't compare.. I don't see how this game is "better" than bf4 or bf3? I want another Vietnam or 2143.... BF1 is just to far back.. How will attachments work?
 
In all honesty, I loved Wolfenstein's alternate reality WW2. We all know how real WW2 went, but the alternate one was so much different. I know Battlefield is going to be more realistic with historic support, but still, it was just so exciting. I wish EA would do this alternate reality world war thing. The potential is literally unlimited so to speak.
 
I have to recognize that I had some fun time last night. Saw some TPU'ers but was unable to join their overseas server ; )
 
For all kepler users: dx12 works great with my 780ti, just the fps is clearly lower than with dx11, it goes down about 10-20 fps, because the gpu usage is lower. Gpu is showing perf cap reason utilisation sometimes which doesn't happen under dx11.

Fps are about 100-110 in dx11 and 80-90 in dx12 with high settings 1080p.
 
How does that make any kind of sense? What's the point of DX12 then if it LOWERS framerate? Lets all go back to DX10 then, because it lowers it even more! Because progress! O_o
