You mean a mini PCIe slot?

I guess if you are really desperate you could use a riser cable from that... But basically none of the boards for modern mainstream desktop CPUs actually have it so I fail to see why you would consider it a use case for a single slot 1660Ti...

While you are seemingly correct, that line is often blurred and standards are grouped together. To be honest, I've been working in the industry for more than 30 years and I've never heard of the "DTX" form factor before.

AMD came up with the form factor spec in 2007. Didn't seem to catch on though.

Exactly ther are plenty of peripherals including SATA, USB and network cards.

The only modern high performance dtx board is the upcoming x570 impact (but that has a sound card rather than second pcie slot because theres barely any single slot cards to run in dtx form factor)... Like i said before theres basically no other board where it would really make sense to drop a single slot 1660 ti in...
