Could someone suggest HDR setting (ballpark figure is fine too) for my friend who has a Benq EW3270U monitor and is just not able to get it right at all, he says: "Everything looks washed out".
These are the specs of his monitor:

My experience was that HDR is VERY dark in the menu so thought it was going to be an issue but it doesn’t seem to effect the actual game. I still turned up the brightness to 900 and I’m not sure which of the 2 HDR options is the better one but now that I’ve messed with the brightness I should test both HDR options for comparison. Definitely not experienced it being washed out like HZD was right up until the latest patch which finally fixed it.

Good point I always have that on because certain games won’t expose HDR options without it on(Forza 4 for example)

Some of my friends are using this mod to gain more fps and get more stable when playing this game with lower in-game graphic settings. You could only set the global in-game Quick graphics preset to "Medium" and then you good to go!

I had a thug in a chokehold when he washboarded like that. When I killed him he just stayed in a t pose and a panicked npc got clotheslined and ate shit on him.

Honestly I was just messing with them a little right now so I don’t have any committed settings yet and I’m currently indoors so not really the smartest place to make adjustments. I will definitely post when I get more info on the 2 HDR types and when I settle on something.

I would run at at the lowest HDR setting the Game allows. I have mine set to 400 and it is great. My monitor has a maximum of 450 so 400 is great. The Game does not look washed out burt the panel is 8 bit VA @ 165 Hz refresh.

I've been playing for about 10 hours now. I like the game, but I wasn't overhyped and waiting for the greatest game of the decade. So far it's feeling more like an immersive sim than RPG. I find myself thinking back to Prey (2017), and honestly, currently I think Prey was the better game.

As for the technology, I'm getting about 50 fps on DF optimised settings at 1440p on my overclocked Vega 64. The game looks great, even amazing at times, but I'm not sure the optimisation is there yet. Still, it's more than playable.

One game breaking bug so far that required a reload.

and all core at 100% (well 93-100 )checked in task manager and HWinfo64

lowered to medium/custom settings from high, it "was" running smooth at console level aka 30fps (well 30fps is technically playable but 55-60 is a tad better for fast paced games )

The implication seems to be that they designed the game on the 'common' 4 core 8 thread intel hardware, and moved on from there with very limited testing with more threads/cores - and thats where the bugs are showing up (AMD SMT, higher core counts not being used, etc)

I’ve only done the hex edit and the mem budget tweak. Is there a driving tweak I’m missing? Now saying that my Nomad starting vehicle was terrible to drive but(granted both previous tweaks applied) my new default vehicle handles much more reasonably so while initially I was very frustrated it may be vehicle dependent. I may change my mind again when I get on a bike.
I really wanted to drive 1st person it felt good and the cockpit was nice enough, but after accidentally clipping a few pedestrians and setting of the “insta cops” reloading and settling on 3rd person for mine and the publics safety is “the way”

Just found out and confirmed on the CDProject red forums that many weapon and clothing mods are bugged. Fall damage reduction and movement speed mods plain don't do anything.

In addition, crit damage and hit chance mods only count 1 mod. If you have more than one, in any single or multiple pieces of clothing it won't do anything. There are also several armor and weapon stat display bugs that cause the weapon card to display incorrect information.

The armadillo mod is overpowered AF for anyone level 30 or under. 106 armor per each one you add you can craft for a small amount of components. I'm level 23 and went from 578 armor to 1,285. It's completely out of wack. I only have 1 legendary and a bunch of blues as well, anyone wishing to abuse this could easily do so. It should be a percentage, that way it scales with whatever armor you have.

In addition, the 5% extra armor from technical is also bugged. You simply get nothing instead.

Think I'm done playing for now. It's either I cheese the game with the armadilo mod or get 1 tapped by randos on the street. The game need some serious bug fixes and balancing. I'm not sure if the 2 months is enough for them to patch even just the known bugs.

I have definitely enjoyed the game but the bugs have become too much for me.
