holy crap my new single 980ti actually beat my 970s sli score and i had the cpu at 4.2 that time this time no oc what so ever. only by a little but still. i cant wait to see what it can do once i have under water.

don't bother with CPU OC it bring nothing much in it

non online benchmark of a MMO doesn't act as a MMO would act :laugh:

: bench = GPU dependent MMO = CPU dependent

tho i am surprised that at the same settings as me you score 14734 with a 980Ti where i get 14897 with a plain 980 (not that it bother me that much tho ....

)

Asus cards tend to boost pretty good. I remember the Asus 780ti I had scored almost 18k on the other ff14 bench and a reference 780ti was getting about 15k

Those GTX 980 scores really tempt me to finally try and go with a single GPU to run my 2560x1600 monitor.

that's for sure ... i don't even regret a bit to swap my 290 for that 980 and i run FFXIVHW uprender in DSR in 2351x1323 on a 27" 1080p screen (steady 60fps ) attempted a 3840x2160 run

result halved fps comparatively to 1080p still ... 30fps is playable if not in a crowded place :laugh:

would need a 2nd Poseidon to do the trick

but at last if i decide to upgrade my screen to a 27" or more on 1440/1600 res it should be mostly fine

47 and 49°c on those 780 on the same loop ... nicey (my poseidon reach around 50°c in gaming and she has a dedicated 240X60 loop)

I run a dual loop and isolate the CPU from the two GPU's. The GPU's share a 360 rad.
Anyways, just ordered the ZOTAC GTX 980 Ti AMP Extreme...
I am excited to play with a new toy :toast:

well i also run (was running) a dual loop, i guess i can still consider it as a dual loop since i use a Raijintek Triton and still the same separate GPU loop
(also i don't know why but i did already assume you where having a CPU-GPU separated loop, hence why i did not write 47 and 49 with both gpu and CPU on the same loop

i got my custom water loop set up yesterday and with no oc and my card did get a nice little boost.

i have a single loop running both cpu and card and im so impressed at how well it works. my card only gets to 39c under load. well i did buy the nickel blocks for both cpu and card i take it that's why my temps are so good. i never done a custom loop b4 lol.

that's more like it! under water nvidia gpu's keep the boost at the highest maximum (ie: 1643 for mine in the GPU-Z monitoring, 1499 GPU-Z reported in the main page)

this is what i get if i run with my usual preset (i never use AA and i have Anisotropic at 8x instead of 16x) but i also DSR to 2351x1323

around 50°C for my GPU but it's not a real waterblock

and it's separate from the CPU cooling, but my actual room temp is around 30° +/-

woooof.... around 3k more than a regular 980Ti .... what did Zotac do ...

yay! i managed a fairly high on the laptop, now i know what settings will give me a acceptable framerate
also upgraded the ram from 4gb 1600 CL11 to 8gb 1600 CL9

and a 15k score on Maximum 1080p by Oc'ing a bit (no custom preset like my other 15k score)
