I'm not going to install "virtual game store" on my PC for each game. If devs wants to sell a game, they really should put it on Steam.

Played it a bit. Basically it is The Division reskinned, set in South America, and marketed as Ghost Recon.

Yes, that was my impresion. Great scenery, but as usual, not a true "first person" experience, instead a playmobile third person view... and interactive (babysitting) markers and signals for friends and foes and everything!

I thought I found the Original GR view with "B" but it is binoculars.
Also the controls seem to be beta, all kind of things/movements happen at the same time.
Don't know if it is a Division or Farcry remake...

iRONSIGHTS: right mouse click does all kind of stuff, but rarely ironsights.

Having a lot of fun with it. Single player was alright, but coop (even with just one other person) is where its at. Driving sucks all around (laggy input and terrible handling), bikes are especially bad, but somehow it is still fun because of how stupidly bad it is; running a Lambo through the forest is entertaining. The shooting and everything is good (I wish there was a first person all the time option), the XP system is straight forward get points and unlock shit. The gun customization is nice (parts and paint), and menus are simple and straight to the point. I do wish they didn't hold your hand as much with the pointing out enemies on the mini-map and with orange streaks everywhere - I wish there were a more hardcore mode. Either way it is still fun. Helicopters kinda suck, haven't tried boats, but planes are really nice to fly. The radio is terrible in this game, a lot of the mission voiceover stuff when picking up messages and shit are annoying. The jokes the squad tells are kinda funny to hear now and again. Vehicle sounds are particularly bad. Overall I am having fun with this and will probably pick it up. I've spent about 5 hours on the beta, just got into the second region..so the world is going to offer a lot I feel like. Somebody said it well, it feels like a mix between Just Cause and Socom Navy Seals.

EDIT: The hardest difficulty takes off the nanny shit.

It's fun but I don't know if it's $60 worth of fun.

Gripes:
- Enemy AI is awful... Enemy AI spawns reinforcements out of thin air (which is inexcusable in an open world game). You can shoot all around someone and they won't notice you just insta killed half the base.
- Friendly AI is awful... You can give them 4 commands, none of which seem to work together and none of which seem to work how you think they would. You get a mark target ability that lets you murder an entire base despite your teammates not being in any position to make the shot.
- Can't customize AI... Your teammates are stuck using whatever weapon they start with.
- Driving... Oh driving.. it's just horrible in so many ways. The physics seem super wonky making steering down the gorgeous winding roads impossible. And you can just rip any vehicle off a cliff into a jungle and drive to your destination like nothing happened.
- Enemies respawn... You can clear out that sicario house as much as you want, they'll always be there the next time you come back.
- Replayability... The games big and seems to have alot to do, but once you clear an area and find the weapon/attachment/intel there's 0 reason to go back there.

Pros:
- It looks nice
- The rebel support system is fairly well implemented
- The map seems roomy while still offering fast travel
- The co-op is fun

Finished the beta the other night, I stand behind what I said before. Also notice my edit: The hardest mode takes off the help stuff to show where enemies are, which makes it a LOT harder. You have to be stealthy in this game if playing on the last two difficulties, especially with 2 people. We've managed to rambo our way in and win fights, but usually ends up with somebody going down (mainly me about 10 times).

Very interested to unlock more weapons and more missions with the full version.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this game WILL have a full sp campaign won't it? It's not strictly coop is it? I had assumed in sp mode you just get 3 bots to work with instead of fellow players.

Well so far it seems it is ALL about missions/campaign, and you can do it alone (with 3 bots) or with human players substituting those 3 bots.
They promise a 4 versus 4 human players patch in the future (sort of "Firefight" or other classic MP modes?)

Such a huge map, with a battle between 8 people, doesn't sound right. Look at Arma or Squad, at least those look like somethinig is going on in the war...
In GR Wildlands they correct this adding ridiculous amounts of cars and pedestrians (like an ant-invasion)! (At night, the lights of the night traffic in the mountains is f*cking ridiculous!)

I imagine the game like this: at least 15 players each side, and each owning a base, town, dam, or stronghold, and fight for the win, advancing with scouts, cars, trucks, helos,...

I really like the game, especially in coop multiplayer. Single-player with AI bots is boring.

It's a decent game especially if you play coop like W1zzard said. I think the graphics are looking good a bit to colorful imo but that is the way Ubisoft are doing their games. I also think it could get a better optimization , probably that will come in the next patches

But i think it's closed. When i opened my Steam app from windows ,it was not showing up, i had to google it. Played it by myself for 2-3 hours. yeah i think it was coop as well, but i had nobody to try it out whit.

What i did not like stealth system . It was not the same as tom clancy ghost recon the first one,or a Splinter cell kinda stealth . Maybe i did not have patience with it, but when the stealth was done it was always guns blazing. And that open world, and the car that felt so fake. It so funny cuz you can roll the car upside down and everybody on board would be fine + the car in all situations will flip right on top again.
it reminded me of Mario kart. The game from the cutscenes and so on, want's to take itself so serious. But i think it kinda fails.
In coop only you could be left with a nice shooter with nice graphics. I don't really see a 60 euro game like this for the single player experience only.

Just now got FC4? Played that to death, including making a handful of videos, one having showed a way to stealth all the way through a fairly tough mission. I could show them to you, but they might spoil the game for you.

If you have 3 friend to play with you this game, good. If not, you can still enjoy the game but less than other choice. So make friends or join co-op sessions in the game. Contact with them always via voice chat and it will be good. I'm playing it with my friends and we're enjoying it even when one of them online. In the days when this game released, there are some issues with performance (according to some community members) and driving mechanics. Yes there are problem with driving mechanics but I don't encounter any performance issues. After the upadate I'm having problem with the game performance and it's annoying. Maybe it will be good for high performance PCs but with my PC, FPS rte is going down sometimes and it's really huge down. Suddenly everything freezing and then continuing after 1 or 2 seconds. I don't know why, there isn't any problem when I started to playe in the first 3 days.

Wildlands system requirements below:

CPU: Intel Core i7- 3770 @ 3.5 GHz
GPU: GeForce GTX 1060 or GeForce GTX 970 (4GB VRAM with Shader Model 5.0 or better)
VRAM: 4GB
RAM: 8GB

My PC can run it in ultra with these requirements but it's not. Still I don't understand why.
