I am able to get into Social Club, and I have many mods installed... Single player is working fine for me with no errors. GTA Online - No idea... don't play it.

You will need to use OPEN IV - a program that allows you to edit/add/change game files. -

Ok when I play GTA V, I just go offline steam then, at least that should work then or do I need to disconnect my wifi?

I just disable my internet completely and it will bypass social club. Not sure about offline mode only for steam.

i need to get more into the modding side of gta5, aside from the nativetrainer, i haven't added anything, and like the idea certainly...for me i think its more of a time issue, but i cant imagine it takes all that long to add a couple of files, etc... the game exponentially gets better when mods are added IMO.

Totally agreed. I have been playing GTA 5 since it was out on console. So I have played the vanilla GTA 5 for a good amount of time, and honestly the entire time I just thought to myself all the minor(some major) things missing in the world of GTA 5 that the previous ones had. No doubt still a great game, but its sad they left the original single player mode behind for now and are only doing these online only updates.

I like to mod the cars in GTA5 the most... If you look @ GTA5-mods.com you will see on the most popular 3D car models, there are some pretty damn cool converts you can do, some are much better quality than GTA 5 cars too, its pretty neat. Some modders have even developed a way to add there own cars into the game, instead of overwriting the skin of a original GTA 5 car.

Well I haven't received any email about such and I never been online before nor that the game went in online mode automatically.

i noticed it about 3-4 hours after i was auto logged into online mode..here is the message.they wasted NO time in banning me, plus it will say it Right above the notification area on screen during gameplay in the bottom left until you are un-banned..."banned until 10/29/15 for blah blah blah"

Back in the days I used a lot of mods in GTA Vice City, back then I just took the time to figure all things out about modding, was fun though
I guess I'm just to lazy to figure all that out again and i think the game already looks pretty good!
I think if you have mods installed you might get problems after an update for the game? Not sure about that though.

your correct there for sure, becasue mod's are written when a certain version of the game is out, i.e V.308.1 then a couple months later v308.2 is released , and the mod's become unstable because they weren't written on/with that version of the game.

For me it would be too much of a hassle to remove all mods again before updates, update the game and reinstall the mods again later on.
I'll just leave it un-modded and I'm just happy the way it looks now and happy as long as the game and the trainer works!

Well luckily, the way the mods were developed (all basically through Script Hook V which enables everything) it simply requires you to update the latest scripthookV.dll in the GTA 5 directory, and all mods should work again.

Yes you are right, I actually just now finished tweaking all my files so they work correctly with the new update. Still doing some minor tweaking on handling. Honestly, I do custom handling for most of the cars, its possible to change basically all of the values in the handling.meta / vehicle.meta files.... some of the code though is not straight forward in terms of what the values do exactly, but its just guess and check basically. The max speed in the game was just not fast / fun enough for me, so most cars are reworked to have more power and a more realistic top speed.

speaking of car modding/speed tweaking, if you like to just mess around in game. Load the native trainer, and enable vehicle invincibility/seatbelt/character invincible/and car speed boost, then Either get in a LArge vehicle (i prefer the busses) or (since you seem to know modding ) change the value for the vehicles weight, and drive on the highway, when your in oncoming traffic, use the #9 button to Boost the vehicle your driving into an oncoming vehicle, then Immediately after collision, hit the #3 key (full & immediate stops you), and watch the vehicle You just collided with FLY down the highway like a soccer ball...SOOOO much fun, but i have simple tastes.

Trust me, when I first installed that native trainer your both using, I did exactly what you are describing countless times

It should work no problem with the trainer your using, you will find a ridiculous amount of weapon mods / vehicle tweaks

Theres even an option that increases the mass of your vehicle

But seriously, the trainer has so many things to just mess around with I don't even want to try listing everything off.

i REALLY wish GTA5 had a LAN option, because i own multiple copies, (multiple children) and we like to play closed matches with eachother, and it would be great to have to option to use the mods During our Multiplayer matches, Since its JUST my family.

I KNOW RIGHT! You could basically do that with GTA:SA with online since it was all server based, and you could use mods in the servers. This is what GTA 5 needed... Would have been epic to have servers that ran mods. Each server could be its own experience, if you want to play all original, theres a server for that. If you want mods that add missing elements, (Live car shop/place to sell you car, extra single player garages/hitman contracts/custom car skins... etc general thingslayer), there would be a server for that. Want to play GTA 5 as batman? Theres a mod for that. really lol. Even vigilante/police missions. This would let you get the full experience of the game I think.

@jboydgolfer do you know what "noiseless" actually does in the trainer?
I have no clue what it does, first I thought if you shoot someone that other people not react but thats not it.

Back in the days I went up to a roof on a high building in GTA Vice City with a sniper rifle and started shooting people, and people still walking around in the same area and they were just "waiting" for a bullet ,
in GTA V if you shoot one, other people will run away, so that was more fun in GTA VC, however GTA V is of course more realistic.

i assumed it meant in terms of when your trying to sneak up behind someone, but now that you mention it, i have never tested that....as im typing this, im thinking it Could also mean No voice from the character...meaning no silly dialogue, or swearing whilst driving etc..Hold on, I'll test it , and edit.

trainer no longer works for me with new updated GTA5 version...i haven't checked to see if a newer Version of the trainer is available for download though. but im getting a "fatal error" from the launcher, and a "scripthookV compatability issue" with current versions of GTA5

Currently on my phone... But go to google and search script hook v. I think you need to update to the version released yesterday. That should make all mods work again. The site shoul be dev-c.com or something

i have a question for anyone who might be able to shed some light on this matter. I am interested in removing the speaking from gta5...i dont want any of the player/character's swearing and shit(just to clarify, i am speaking about the stuff they say when you crash while driving,ALL of the commentary...id like to JUST censor the swearing, but i dont think thats possible) can i get rid of it? i am looking in the audio folder in my GTAV directory, and i can see a bunch of files, i just rather not start deleting.

I'm not sure but you mentioned it yourself before, what does "noiseless" do in the trainer, maybe that results in no speak?

possibly..but im leaning away from that, because i've enabled it, and the character was still speaking.
