3DMark (2013) with Ultra HD FireStrike: 2937 miserable points... :)
wow, isn't that like half the points of firestrike extreme?

hello 970/980 clubbers, purchased zotac 970 extreme recently, boosts to 1430mhz by default, fantastic card, question, has anyone come across on any results of other zotac cards owners after they turned ON the LN2_OTP switch on back of card? greatly appreciate any feedback

Yes! And 1/4 of my "normalized" benchrun! And it doesn't look a lot better.

Aproximated frequent 3D Mark results
Normalised test: 12000 points
Extreme test: 6000 points
4K Ultra test: 3000 points.

Bravesoul: and the Zotac Liquid Nitrogen switch does... what? Normally these switches allow to boot when sub zero...

I wonder how long before Nvidia comes out with newer optimised/tweaked drivers for the 9x0 series

I wonder how long before NVidia releases full fat 210 chip and makes us all feel inadequate again.

Well, it took 3 weeks on back order and 4 days to ship it but I finally got my MSI GTX 970 GAMING card. People, the pics on the net do not do this card justice. This is one damn nice looking card! I'm going to put it in my rig when I get done with my errands today and test it out.

What cooling are you using for the GPUs in those runs?
Pics please:)
Just stock - air cooling on the GPU's, CPU is on water cooling with chiller assist.
I'll take som pics when I get home from work :)

Hey guys, was just wondering if anyone can answer this question for me, I have dual 980s and three monitors, but currently only use one monitor for gaming and the other two monitors as extra desktop real estate.

Back when I had my titans I couldn't enable SLI and drive all three monitors at once, as they would only display on one screen. The only solution was to use a spare 580 to drive the two other screens.

My question is, now that I have 980s, each with multiple display outputs, do I still need an extra card to drive the two other monitors if I only enable SLI for the center screen for gaming?

Hope any of you guys could help me answer this question :)

I have joined the dark side with a Zotac GTX 980 AMP! Extreme Edition, and so far it kicks ass for the hour or so I have gotten to use it. Some Unigine Valley runs on default settings below, very impressed with the performance!
