did you have UAC disabled when you ran Installsli.cmd

Yea, because when it wasn't disabled it would ask for Administrator password even though I didn't set one, so i couldn't do it...

i think so as well, that something is wrong with his windows instalation.

...I had this exact same problem in Windows XP Pro SP3

I went to Windows 7 to try and resolve the issue but it's exactly the same

How can you tell me I'm doing something wrong :S

If I've clean formatted, completely, and tried 2 different OS's, it's obviously not related to anything on my hard drive

And yes, removing one card, my system still failed to boot in SLIEnabled x32

hm, i think problem is different? doesnt it trys to run "startup repair" when you boot in win7 and you where geting blue screens in winxp? This means something is wrong with boot settings in win7... However i have no clue what that could be... maybe your computer just doesnt like this patches ;( /sarcasm

edit: hm just noticed you are geting blue screens with win7 as well, did you use that asus sli string patcher? or did you use some other manufacture?

i know that you never had it. but with original files your system didn't boot (when you overwrite my modded files by original)

Yea but with normal XP and normal Windows 7 it worked fine, so it must be something the mod does that stops it booting

SS shows that used loader is mine, but for some reason it doesnt want to load kernel and hal. so Mike do next:

go to windows\system32

look for ntoskrnl.exe and copy it to other folder
look for hal.dll and copy it to other folder
rename ntoskrnl.exe to ntoskrnp.exe
rename hal.dll to halsli.dll

copy renamed files to windows\system32

try to boot with SLIEnabled

PC Booted in SLi Enabled (which is weird cos I have done this before and it did not work) with 1 card, SLi was not available

PC booted in SLi Enabled with 2 cards, SLi is still not available

So now that I have successfully booted, the SLi is still not available?

However there is no SLi String installed as you asked me not to do that

Shall I do it now?
