Uninstall Method
To begin with, congratulations for your forum and your support!! The SLi mod is so awesome!!!
Ten days ago, I have sucessfuly activated an 8600GT SLi on my ASUS P5E3. It was rock-stable and scaled very well... Today I uninstalled the second card and boot with only one card. Since then I can't stop having BSOD at the very beggining of "Starting Windows".
(Saying that my BIOS is not fully ACPI compatible)
I thought that it could be the modded hal.dll. I replaced with the backup one, I turned off testsign, deleted the SLIC certificate, nothing happened. When I tried one of my 4870, I also got the very same BSOD...
However, I can boot to windows using 2 cards!!!(either the nvidia ones, or the ati ones)... Could you please guide me on how to eliminate this glitch???
