6900xt is dead. 1660s is my old card.
Yikes! Reminds me of December, 2021, when I "bricked" my Navi10! (RX 5600 XT) I popped in my Zotac GTX 1660 Super.
Changing the drivers was so easy with DDU! IIRC, I used DDU to clear the Radeon software. Select the option in DDU to block Windows Update from installing drivers!
IIRC, this would hurt more than when my RX 5600 XT was "bricked"!
I got my GTX 1660 Super, before the "video card mageddon"!
I got my RX 5600 XT in November, 2020, it was very shortly before the "video card mageddon"! It already looked very bad in December, 2020!
But, I did have another Navi1, the RX 5500 XT 8 GB. (Both Navi1s are MSI) I got the RX 5500 XT 8 GB, months before I got the RX 5600 XT, which only has 6 GB of VRAM, but it beats the RX 5500 XT 8 GB.
One of the cons of the RX 5500 XT, is that it's x8. It's clearly made for PCI-E 4.0, but I had a PCI-E 3.0 motherboard. Even when the popular-at-the-time Ryzen 7 3700X, of course has PCI-E 4.0.
Matisse was the first to have PCI-E 4.0. It was because I had a B450 motherboard, IIRC.
