Sometimes the used one isn't just not cheaper, but more expensive.TBF in the UK, you'll be lucky to get a few % discount from open box items, maybe £30-£40 cheaper than their selling RRP for something like a GPU, maybe @Blaeza can enlighten us? though who's buying a 6900XT at nearly £700 when you can get a 7900 GRE for a little over £500 that should in all accounts be better whilst using quite a lot less energy, better perf/watt, newer architecture etc etc
Unless you're buying from a second-hand store, or eBay, you're only saving pennies at most. I have no clue why this is.
