Despite some of the unlucky ppl that get their ssd's out of the moday morning batch I see no link or statistics that show massive failure.
Lets be honest, out of millions produced hundreds will always fail of any brand, either by user error or other causes, but this is still insignificant.
The OCZ vertex and others from that brand had high failrates. IBM deathstar HD's, Samsung S7, etc. etc. All well known failing products, the NV2 is not among these.

About some of the cheap WD SSD's, some of their end speeds go way lower then HD speeds. That would be the true endpoint of the race to the bottom.

I bought the 2 TB version of this ssd on Amazon discount. I did some tests, I guess I'm a little lucky. I'm sharing the results in the attachments, I'll share the crystaldiskmark results soon.

Phison E21 and TLC BIiCS5 is winning the lottery (not that the stakes are very high with this lottery. I guess it's much better than losing the lottery with some ancient Tenafe controller and bottom-of-the-barrel YMTC RAM that was somehow cheaper for Kingston than even Micron's troubled and dirt-cheap QLC!)
