NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050, RTX 5060, and RTX 5060 Ti Specifications Leak

5060 with 3840 looks the best here, although these greedy bitches could have made it with 4608, and presented 5060ti on a cut-down 205 with 5000-5500. 5060ti-16 will be the biggest piece of shit, almost catching up in price with another piece of shit 5070. 5050 if it costs more than two hundred, is also shit.

No info on ROPs....are they stoping to report them? :D

These cards don't have any. They're too expensive to make, not fit for a sub-$1,000 card, you know. :D

People calling these cards DOA are putting the cart before the horse. Same was said about the “pathetic” and “castrated” and “glorified 4050” RTX 4060 and, to the surprise of absolutely nobody, it’s the top selling GPU of 40 series. So no, if these cards actually get decent enough supply and avoid TOO MUCH of the current pricing nonsense they will absolutely sell well. If not, well, they will just join the club of other DOA (for various reasons) cards. Which is EVERY CARD this generation in terms of value for the gamer customers.
Their "popularity" is completely Irrelevant to any assessment of their value....McDonalds sells a lot of food, so by your logic, we should assume they sell the highest quality food merely because they sell more of it than anybody else.

Would having it at 192BIT bus and reducing the memory speed to those of GDDR6 type make you feel better?
5060 ti review and comparison with 4070 will tell.

the vast majority of PC gamers play games that don’t CURRENTLY require more VRAM and won’t really EVER do so.
Generally speaking, when someone makes sweeping generalizations, I request some empirical evidence to support those assertions....

the only budget cards worth getting at the moment are from Intel B570/B580 i don't see that changing TBH
Not even those - at least they're way overpriced and barely available here in the UK. You can get a 7600, or even a 4060 much cheaper.

The 8GB VRAM makes these discrete GPUs worse than some iGPUs

Like some say, it ain't planned obsolescence anymore, but current

Not to mention the CPU issue they have, I mean whats the point of a budget card if you need a high end CPU to get the most out of it cause reasons. 'I'm not sure if it was fixed since but if not then yea its a nope'

Tbh I wanted to upgrade to a 16 GB 5060 Ti but after seeing how the 5070 performs I don't have much if any hope left.. 'Prices are also completely insane like a decent model 4070 Super second hand but in new condition is like 700+ Euro around here atm'

What? Where did I make a quality assessment? Do you charge at windmills often? I made an objective observation that the enthusiast perceptions have usually nothing to do with how the actual hardware does commercially. Which, yes, at the end of the day is the only thing that matters to the company making said hardware.

Generally speaking, when someone makes sweeping generalizations, I request some empirical evidence to support those assertions....
Again, what? It’s a well known fact among, like, anyone. The evidence is literally a click away - just look at Steam Charts or, if you want all PC platforms, just google PC games by MAU. Are you actually, unironically going to pretend that the biggest PC games are NOT LoL, CS, Valorant, Rocket League, DotA, Fortnite and so on and so forth? Really?

Only care for the 5050.. could be a decent card. But the 5060 and 5060Ti are very.. meh. Don't care. Rest of the 50 series ruined the rest of this for me besides the 5050.

8GB
128bit
Like spit in a face
Disgusting. Jensen can keep it for himself.

Yeah I think considering spec change 5060 might have greatest uplift in 50 series, but NVIDIA have to price it right and have decent availability.

I kinda expect it might get a super refresh with 3GB VRAM later on, making it 5060 12GB, perhaps to entice 3060 12GB crowd to finally upgrade.

5060ti will be a more efficient 3080 with 16GB.
Will it? At 48 SM, 5070 failed to best the 60 SM 4070 Ti. Here we got 36, or "won't best 45 SM of Ada" and you know what? 4070, at 46 SM, is exactly a more efficient 3080. 5060 Ti will be consistently slower. Not by much but slower, sliding in between 3070 Ti and 3080.

It looks like stagnation in both number of cores and VRAM for the sub $500 market.

no u cant
He's speaking from a European perspective. UK, and really most parts of Europe it seems, has had really bad prices for the B570 / B580, for context.

Is the 4060 even a decent buy outside of the US? WIthin the states I haven't seen a soul actually buy this card unless its part of a prebuilt, or they wanted to get one of that one really cool low profile 4060. Then again, I tuned out a ton from the 7600 and 4060 launches.

There is a 16 gb version btw, why is everyone so stuck with the 8gb? The 128 bus offers double the bandwidth compared to last gen due to gddr7.

more of what i expected, I price is gona be just as horrifying....

Card will sell and it will look like selling like hot cakes cause sold out everyone cause there will be no inventory, cause either nvidia producing there gpu on "needed" basis or there with hold inventory to make it look like it in high demand to stock holders just to keep prices high.

and last i check there bunch for alot tech company lowering production to keep prices high and saying "high demand" cant find 5070 at msrp cant find rx 9070 msrp. Not good to be be pc gaming god forbid some part dies you gona either be stuck this overpriced stuff. or giving up the hobby.

I might no sure my ps5 much anymore, but I am sure glad I have it. Cause these prices for what amount to almost no gains for now 2 generations from nvidia

The difference in cores is supposedly 5050 -> + 50% = 5060 -> + 20% = 5060 Ti. The 5050 is too castrated for the expected ~ $250. You can be sure it has worse power efficiency and cost-per-frame than the 5060. I still have some hopes for the 5060 Ti 16GB with its fast memory but I'm afraid that the reason for the high Vsync power draw in the 5000 series is the GDDR7 implementation. The 5050 is GDDR6 so we will see.

I'm not surprised Nvidia is going with 8GBs. I think its silly for them to push all their software features and release a card that lacks the VRAM to truly take advantage of them. Then again, the RTX3050 outsold the RX6600 handily despite being more expensive and significantly slower.

The Riva 128 was launched almost 30 years ago, with the same crappy (now) 128-bit bus!!
But that card was aimed for SVGA and XGA resolutions, not even HD.
Those 128-bit cards will choke like no tomorrow even on 1080p resolution.
nGreedia keeping its name I see.

…that’s not even close to how things work. Like, by that logic high-end card nowadays should run, what, 4096-bit buses? 8192-bit?
Oh, and no, no those cards won’t choke in 1080p. Overall bandwidth still should go up due to GDDR7.

Probably you're right. It just needs to come at the right price - but it won't, here I have no illusions. As the cheapest *new* 16GB ticket into CUDA-land it's bound to be in demand from people who don't care about games and will buy it anyway.
