This is exactly why you send peons for first wave then comes the good stuff for those who wait. Jokes aside I never saw anyone of the reviewers mention those issues stated above. I wonder if reviewers were send cards with different BIOS then the users.

I spent $530 for a brand new MSI 980ti Golden Edition this month....couldn't be happier

....Was looking at the 1080 FE but didn't want to spend the additional $170+

I'd say this card still runs games pretty well at 1080p and 1440p @ 120 & 144hz, damn cool and quiet. I'm sure Nvidia will find a fix, though having already pissed off some customers.

I was a sucker and bought it since I'm an impatient bastard. I can confirm, every 3 minutes while playing Black Desert Online this thing revs up like I'm about to take a trip into the future. Most other games I haven't had any issue. It's honestly the most annoying sound in the world. Read recently though that the fix will be in the next driver update.
