I've seen that there are various versions of the GPU with different clocks. mobile version?
Ah right, no, I'm using a PNY Quadro RTX 5000 (desktop GPU).

@420frodo There's a couple here
I'm not familiar with stuff after Pascal but seems one has a newer UEFI Driver and the other says something about not being able to upgrade. Don't know if that's something to do with rebar or not. Both unverified, don't know what it means exactly, sounds dodgy or maybe not guaranteed to work?

Flash it with the original NVFlash, back up your vbios first. This vbios completely fixed the error for me and I have exactly the same one as you

And in the case of a black screen and dx errors, set the power in msi afterburner to 70% and you will get exactly the same performance but the hynix nvram error is gone

Tried to flash EVGA 3080ti FTW3 Ultra with 3090 FTW3 Ultra v1 vBIOS. Flashing seems to fail.

This is very similar to what I saw on nvflashk as well.

EDIT: SOLVED.. Haven't flashed in a while totally forgot the '-6' option.

What happened afterwards, how did the card behave.
I tried recently to flash a higher TDP Bios (MSI 3080Ti), while it worked perfectly, performance got worse, basically the card consumed more power while running at lower frequencies.

First post sorry, but was looking everywhere and could not find an anser. So can you, for example, use nvflashk of the Quadro P2000 to the equivalent of the GTX? Or back it up and remove the tdp restrictions etc.?

Can someone help me flash a 3070TI laptop vbios to unlock the power / voltage sliders ? What software should I use to edit the bios ? At least would be nice to be able to set TDP of the card higher. I have an MSI 125W TDP and 150W max vbios. I would like to set the TDP to 140W and the max maybe 160-165W. Is this possible ?

I already have a 450W vBios with a cooler that can handle 450 watts, so for the most part I have been fine at 450 Watts, holding 73-74c at 80% fan speed at 450Watts. Additionally, P-V curve for different card models (hence different vBioses) is not identical, and would require some P-V tweaking to find your optimum point. So, if you throw on a BIOS with higher power target, you need to be mindful of two things at the minimum, can your cooler handle the heat, and do you know your Chip's optimal P-V curve so that you can dial it in with the new vBios.

Now on the topic, 3090 vBIOS flashed, but I got no display. So I RDP'd in, and found that card was not triggering at all. I tried a couple of more 3090 Bioses, and then backed out. I dont think 3090 vBIOS can work on 3080ti.

So I am more looking to see if we can get an Ampere vBIOS Editor soon.

I sure want a 3xxx 4xxx series bios editor so I can tweak power limits and now its a great time since I've understood we can flash them using this great tool !

I don't think the cooling is to blame, but voltages are maybe too high, as the same card is running slower at higher wattage, maybe those 3080ti are bad and MSI had to increase voltage to maintain the same frequencies.

I need to spend time playing with P-V curve like you suggested, though laziness and lack of time prevents me from doing so:banghead:

Hi, can I use this tool to softmode my laptop's 4070 as professional 3000 ada? (I know that some features won't work due to hardware limitations)

Flashed Zotac 1070 AMP! into Zotac 1070 Mini and after pushing it for couple hours I managed to snatch a Time Spy 1st place with 1070 & 5800x3d. Although carried hard by CPU OC, this should be a good send off to 1070.

I'll revert to original BIOS though as it wont be needing that extra power anymore (it makes a small difference anyway).

And thanks for the tool.

Hello

Is there an analogue of Nibitor for Ampere bios? I want to change the voltage and frequency values at the BIOS level, as I did on the GTX 280.
