The other possibility is that the CPU needs 4 RAM modules to address 16GB. Older hardware may not be able to use RAM module sizes that didn't exist yet.
I would go to Userbenchmark.com and see if any others are getting 16GB on that MB. If you run your sytem there it will be put in with other similar systems.

if there was a limit my ram would be always 8 usable but it was always 16 before sometimes it changed to 8 but it was because of voltage then i fixed it

please install AIDA64, and find the memory stick details from there and post them here.

This issue can be caused by memory mismatch. I got the same thing in my system since i have different sticks with different timings.
If this is the issue, the way to solve it is quite advanced and requires setting the mem timings in BIOS to the higher values out of all the memory sticks you have.

Maybe with some true OC, dunno... haven't managed to do that yet but I still use "safe" range on my RAM

I dont have new version but for me, it can be found from Motherboard -> SPD -> select the memory stick you want to see details of.

Just for future reference if anyone with the same issue finds this topic:

RAM mismatch can also be caused by mismatched ranks. A CPU's memory controller doesn't only allocate channels, but also ranks.

I've just tried to fix an old laptop with an AMD A4-1250 APU with a single channel memory controller, 2 GB onboard memory and one memory slot. I have a 2 GB and two 4 GB sticks at home. The laptop works with all of them, but Windows/Linux detects 6 GB RAM only with one of the 4 GB sticks. With the other 4 GB and the 2 GB stick, the OS detected only 2 GB RAM even though it was all recognised in the BIOS.

The solution: the 4 GB stick that works has 8 memory chips in single rank operation while the other 4 GB and 2 GB sticks have 16 chips each in dual rank. The processor's memory controller can only map two ranks - one is reserved for the integrated 2 GB and one for the memory slot. So the RAM stick I install has to be single rank for the CPU to map and OS to detect it.

Your ram doesn't seem to be running at the correct frequency though. Make sure you are running it at its maximun of 1600mhz. Maybe thats why its been fixed?

(but before that make sure your laptop supports that)

and i dont get that 333 mhz too cpu z always showed my voltage everything different when i change it in bios it always shows same

Just do a memtest86. At least it can rule out OS and/or software problem. You don't even need to do the complete test.
