300 watt on PCI-E slot... Sounds nice...awesome in fact. Imagine no more cables needed for gpu's, every neatfreak's dream for perfect cable management. I think there's been a misunderstanding though, from what I read someone made the wrong assumptions when the info was posted and that basically "The 300 Watts is intended for the certification process but the maximum slot power will remain to be 75 Watts" the power output on the slots will remain the same. Oh well guess we'll have to wait another 10 years before we'll be able to build high end gaming systems that don't need external power connectors to power our GPU's
