very very true. i am in game right now. only found one decent person to play with,the rest are just bad.
Guys is there like a channel where you play ? I really need somebody to play with. Random matching is very hard, Out of 20 matches you get 1 good one,and you get killed in 5 minutes. Hard to find good people, even harder to stay alive.

I get constant crash to desktop.

A bit on, or off topic: this is where big companies shine the most. I know, myself included,we all like to hate. But if this game was launched by Ubisoft , this would had had no lag, no crashes ,nothing.
In this case 3 guys in a room , working on it...and it shows. Will not be surprised if this will always be in Alpha/Beta etc... Looking on to this with critic eyes, you will see the game has a huge amount of bugs. 90% witch you can play and still have fun, 10% witch makes the game completely non playable .
Still doing the math. I rank 448 000 in game. That means i have 448k people in front of me. That means 448k people have bought the game at around 25-30$ or euros etc... That means 448k x 25$ = 11.200.000 $ I guess there are taxes to consider etc... but still this is a sh!t load of money.

I have faith in playerunknown keeping his word that this game will be out of beta/early access within 6 months since the day it was available on Steam.

I cant. Since its TPU's Discord only the mods of tpu that are on discord can invite people to join it.

Very true. Still w8 to see what Intel will bring as a response to Ryzen. But something tells me it will be a very expensive cpu line-up. Probably will go with Ryzen after all. between real life problems and all these changes in cpu world(market) i hesitated to buy a new computer.

And i just got killed. Made it to lvl 23. In the zone....right in the middle. Ready to camp in a house when they sniped me. Did manage to get a kill this round. A poor player walked int he house as i was looting. Double tapped with a MP...something,it's a weapon that only has 5 bullets magazine.

Dont go right to the middle because than you will likely have guys coming from more than one direction. Play the edge of the circle and move in with it. I will go into the middle of the circle once its gets closer to end game though, and if I have an idea of where most people are going to come from. If you keep track of the general trajectory of the plane at the beginning of the match, makes knowing where people are going to be throughout the game a lot easier.

I just got 13th in a solo because I forgot to reload after killing 2 guys. Put 4 rounds in a guy, no more left in the mag, he turned and killed me,

I tend to sneak and try to get into the middle of the circle. I tend to avoid combat as much as possible. You are surrounded, but as long as i keep hiden i should be fine...make it to top 15-10 on almost every game. Getting good gear and running into combat, will get me killed in top 40, witch is not very satisfying.

The server tick rate is very bad which is why you are finding that you die a lot when engaging in combat. I read somewhere the tick rate is around 20 while most games it is at 60. If you want to be top ten then you must stay quiet and remain patient. Only shoot when you know for certain you are going to kill the person and that nobody else is around.

Top ten is very easy to achieve doing whatever you want (in solo) as long as you're aware of your surroundings and let people do what they want. I've gotten top 10 multiple times with just melee or a vehicle, and it's pretty fun to just not care and drive around trying to run over people when the circle gets really small.

I've not been playing that much recently...it's much more fun with a group IMO. The real thing killing solo for me is the lack of a hardcore/first person mode. I've seen the server browser feature and saw one of the names was FP only, but haven't tried it out.

I won my first game last night. it was a squad win. All i did was drive the car up until the end game. It lags when i drive fast for me when i press the shift. I kept hitting things, good thing everyone was patience . Got 1k points.
I tend to find vehicles much more often in squad then in solo plays.

I am really looking forward for new content in this game and some fixes for the annoying bugs, hit registration and performance improvement. I play DUO or SQUAD most of the time with my friends, we talk on skype and that helps. We've won 2 times I think and many times we were in the last 8-10. It is a nice game but it needs a lot of work

OMG.... you..... I cannot express these words right now due to the nature that I would be immediately banned from TPU. The game in its stage right now has more play ability that DayZ has ever had in its over 4 years of development.

It is harder, but that's the whole point. Abusing third person view to get 10 different angles lowers the skill ceiling of the game a lot. It allows you to check corners without actually going into a room, check if somebody is on the second floor of a building before you go upstairs, clip through walls (there is a specific house type I like to do this in if I choose to camp), etc.

When they have better sound (specifically directionally) and first person, the game will be a lot of enjoyable for a lot of more 'harcore' gamers I think.

Read up on who Playerunknown actually is. He is the one that brought up the whole battle royal concept. He made the DayZ Battleroyal as a seperate thing when DayZ was still just a mod. He does not have anything to do with DayZ standalone. Then he was hired by Sony Entertainment to oversee the development of H1Z1 King of the Kill, Left that shitty game to make Battlegrounds with a new South Korean studio called BlueHole studio where he can make the game exactly how he wants it. Using Unreal Engine 4 due to having more support and documentation can allow them to get more done in a shorter amount of time compared to previous ones he has worked on using proprietary engines.

This game is 10000x more playable than DayZ is in DayZ 4 years of development. This game has been in development for 1 year and its almost ready for prime time. Just optimization and server performance work and itll be damn good. Maybe fix the delay when trying to get into a car sometimes. A lot of the server and lag issues could be fixed with ping limits so that people are only allowed to play on servers from their region. So you dont have "China #1" people trying to play on NA servers with 900 ping, etc.

Though if they dont get to optimizations and server performance quickly they will lose a lot of players. The ping limits should be coming in the next patch actually.

For 3rd person servers, they should reduce the thickness of the grass, or lower the camera when prone so that it is harder to see while prone in the grass or so that people can actually see them with grass not so thick.

Sometimes the zone moves to fast. I had time, but in like 1 minute 10 people died and the circle got really small, and so far away from where i was . I had to run for my life with electricity around me.

yeah the zone speed is based on the number of people alive at the time the timer hits 0. I have been in duos and squads with other TPU members where the first time the circle moves in, its slow and you can outrun it if you dont have a vehicle, and the player count was still pretty high. Then we have been in matches where half the players have died so early, that the circle moves fast and you cant outrun it. I think it needs to stay consistent, and near the end game, the time between each circle needs to be increased by 30sec to a min, and the circle should move even slower because near the end as it is now, its not a battle between the players, but a battle with the circles. Near the end no one wants to put their guns away to run for the circles, because there are guys literally everywhere you look.

Also just so people are clear, you can revive people still even if their health is low. During the 10sec revive process their health stops dropping from what I have seen. Other claim it does not, but i havent seen that.

LOL you know we had fun last night! I had High hopes for DayZ standalone but they blew it. I would still play arma 2 DayZ all day long if you would play that. I still have a Overpoch server just waiting to be turned back on that would keep you entertained all night. The only reason I stopped playing it was due to others getting into arma 3 or BF1
