I don't know why, it's very simple two tone, but I really like this color scheme for a motherboard. lol

I think it would be neat to see a whole pastel color line of hardware, Easter vibes I know, but I think it would look nice in a computer setup with white dim lighting, a full pastel color two-tone themed, never seen anything like that before.

Repasted the GPU I have the most nostalgia for, my old Radeon X1950 Pro. Made sure to get a sexy pic while doing so.

The old paste was somehow still decent after 18 years, but now it has fresh MX4 on it. Temps dropped a couple of degrees after doing this.

This makes me almost want to refurb my X800 GT, it's a beast as it's a 8-pipe card and OC's like mad. A true "9800 XT on steroids" if you ask me. And what's the best about that card? Got it for free from an interwebz buddy (he gave a 6800 Ultra AGP too!)

Yeah, I got two of these cards for free from one of my dad's friends back in 2010 or so. I still have both of them, but sadly the other one doesn't work anymore.

It was likely silicon based paste.

Performance is usually some less with a higher lifespen then normal.

The temperature reporting only took one spot of the GPU, not like today's hotspot (various sensors all around the GPU picking up the hottest).

Fun time; Owned a X800Pro (flashed into X800XT), a 1950Pro, 3850 AGP and from there on only PCI-E as that was the shifting new standard.

I have a X1950 GT which is unfortunately dead. Though..... I'll be getting a hot air gun maybe today or something, I could try reflowing that Sapphire card.

Didn't pay anything for that luckily, just got it with other stuff I bought few years ago.
