everything works great on my 2x 560ti SLI 1/2gb, but in BF4 beta it showed that my 2nd card was not being used at all. turns out i get better frame rates with just 1 card.. any solutions to this? or is there a way to modify my own driver. (newest nvidia beta driver)

You need the latest beta to have SLI support in BF4. Not really anything you can do about this until he gets out a new modded driver based on it.

GTX 680 2GB & 4GB Cards

Hi there,

I have been fortunate to get hold of a gtx 680 4gb very cheap as the newer cards have been released. With out realizing that you can't use the same cards with different RAM sizes?!

Reading through previous posts I am getting the same symptoms (Blank screen)

I follow instructions as per the first post, on resetting sli option is enabled. I click enable and screen goes blank for some time but returns enabled. I then try to run Battlefield 3 and the screen goes blank. I reset the computer and I am unable to get into windows without removing the SLI bridge.

Will it be the case I need to wait for the update or is there an alternative software?

Have you re arranged the cards the opposite way in the PCI E slots?

There is no alternative software and as for updates, we are still waiting.

for giggles and the fact I have one each of these cards....
but unfortunately i only have 1 16x and 1 4x pcie slot on my board...

but , i have been able to get the sli option with the 320.18 drivers (modded added) and the 660 in the 16x slot.
and the 760 in the 4x
however on selecting SLi the screen goes black and then nothing



with 760 in 16x and 660 in 4x I can only load up the 320.49 drivers ...but installed the 320.18 modded on top of those...
on selecting sli and the reboot ...I get a screen with very nasty font and colors etc...
cant read the words or anything only blobs of pixles where icons should be

sell the 660?
buy another 660 and sell the 760?
not worth it with a 4x pcie slot ?
combo of all ...lol

OR is there someone out there with this setup of newer cards having it work?
other drivers to try or anything?

If your motherboard does not support SLI and you are using Hyper SLI to make it work, then you need to post in the Hyper SLI thread. http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/showthread.php?t=153046

You do not need to use the modified drivers in this thread for the same cards from different vendors/brands.

The reason you get a nasty screen is because of mismatched drivers.
320.18 + mod 320.18 works.
320.49 + mod 320.18 will not.


As for the black screen, this could be several things.
-Try switching the cards around, 760 in 16x and 660 in 4x
-Check your bios to see if you can change your PCI E slots to 8x/8x instead of 16x/4x
-Test this with only on monitor connected(if you have more than one)

installed 660 in 16x slot with 320.18 drivers ...good

, so it appears the modded drivers installed ,,,watermark isn't there until I run the mod driver install.

They should, however your 770 will only use 2gb of RAM instead of the usual 4gb.

It would be though I don't know his plans and he hasn't stated them unfortunately. However as suggested before, we could barrage him with private messages asking nicely if he would show us how!

This sounds like the 320.18 drivers are too old for the 760 then and is what's causing the problem.

I have been waiting for Nvidia to sort out some problems with Physx on 320.49 was stuck with 320.18. Now that new ones have rolled out I am more than happy. Running two 550Ti's with different clock speeds. I can confirm that this mod is working. Although started to look at single card setup due to recent monitor upgrade.

I guess SLI just isn't for me.

This works and is a normal incremental update to the modified .sys file.

Different clock speeds on the same card should not require any modified drivers!?

What drivers were you using previously besides the 320.18?
