Not the new types. The new kind of popups are in-frame elements that Firefox has no block for.
I also encountered an ad that covers the entire page and makes me have to click the X on the top right, reminding me of pop-up ads from 2003 and 2004, FFS!

it also blocks trackers and those often do qualify
thats why firefox has the reputation of a browser with built in addblock

I see TPU is slow as the second coming........Again:shadedshu:

Oh god that new TT ad is almost as bad as the nicehash one, RAINBOW SPLASH

The issue rather seems to be with the white bakground than with the colors?

What I'm having is not exactly a technical issue...it's an issue of being misinformed about policy and I don't know where to find the answer.

The problem: Every time I go back to edit a post...it seems I can no longer do so? Is this a new policy? If so...how long do I have to edit a post before my editing privileges are taken away from my own post?

If someone could point me in the right direction to find the answer to my inquiry...I'd be most appreciative.

Thanks,

Liquid Cool

Is this a new policy?
Nothing has changed for years.

If you really have to edit a post, report post and ask for the change. If you're running some continuously updated thread, send me a pm, I can unlock the time limit for specific posts

W1z...

I guess I just haven't run across not being able to edit my posts before....so, it was new to me. I doubt I'll run across it again, I just wanted to know how long I have to edit a post so I can keep within the rules.

I"m specifically speaking of my post in the Hot Deals forum...I went back to update my original post to let people know the item was on sale again and I didn't think that was worth adding a new post to the thread for...but I was forced to because I couldn't edit my post.

No big deal. I just wanted to know what the time limit is...and now I know.

Appreciate the heads up....:).

this is a perfect example for "report your own post" to get moderator help with editing, don't be shy we're all happy to help

bright backgrounds yeah, many of us use dark mode as much as possible

While I agree with you, it's really not that bad.. Just my opinion though..
Its when i'm reading the forum posts and not the front page that its too much white

I'm using 32" VA panels here, and its bright enough to be seen from orbit

Soooooo much white - here in the forum, those side panels are grey and a ton easier on the eyes

Had a few of these a couple of hours back and the site was lagging badly.
It appears to be functioning correctly now.

Thanks! Should be fixed now, just added a new poll
