font.size.systemFontScale - change it from default (100 in my case) to 108.

That was the missing piece of the puzzle. The issue should be fixed now, please confirm. @birdie, @Aenra?

The underlying issue was with the navigation menu, invisible overlapping into the bottom, and pushing the content area to the side. I haven't touched the menu code in long time. So I suspect it's a bug in the way FF handles Flexbox (changed the content area from Floats to Flexbox yday)

Weird. That setting shouldn't have that effect. Could this be a rare code incompatibility?

The code change breaks the popup menus in the main site navigation, reverted, working on a fix

edit: new fix implemented, which should work better

Not sure what happened. W1zz fixed it yesterday in the morning (it's 10 PM for me now) and it worked fine. Now it's broken again, so my guess is that he was tweaking something today and didn't work out, rolled back and then we got this problem back? Regardless, we'll have to wait.
